For this discussion, I'd like to presume that there is a SPIRIT inside each of us and inside all plants and animals. It's totally possible that there is NOTHING inside of us but consciousness until we die. I'd like to pose the following questions to the group:

No, your physical self is just a product of genetics. Not spirit.

Not really sure, but I think St Andrew or St Joeseph mentions it in the bible yes? That may be where the answer lies.

No, I think they are Bielectric frequency given off by the body, or some dsort of Psychic energy surplus, or network.

Most possibly.

Yes, if you know a spirit who has been with you for many lifetimes, they are familiar to you

Spirits are not..physical...they are beings of energy, they don't have skin tones.

Your mother and your father.

2. What is it made of?
Cells.

3. Is it a mirror image of we look like in the physical world?
It is not a visible thing, but some facets of it mirror your appearance.

Your spirit is as old as you are.

5. Are spirits male for males and female for females?
Spirits don't have genitals, but their characteristics can be typically male or typically female depending on the person.

Our spirit includes our minds and thoughts.

Some of it, yes, in the form of memory stored in the brain.

Because no one can be told what it is you have to see it for yourself.

Does that sound cryptic? It's not. Explaining consciousness, is like explaining SR, eventually you have to see it for yourself, until then it's just words, just a belief, just a difference of opinion. Information is informative, but without taking that information and doing something with it, it remains as information, words, theory, beliefs.
