First let me say I never have believed much in 'paranormal' things. I do however tend to believe and trust my own intuition. This isn't exactly what happened (main subject modified to protect the innocent?). What would you think if .. You had been sort of planning a trip for a while, the time was getting closer but you had not yet set dates and one while you were putting some notes in your journal about the trip suddenly from nowhere a rememberance of a big plane crash popped into your head. Then The next day while meditating, on nothing in particular just relaxing another even bigger plance crash event just popped in from nowhere. Then Taking a walk enjoying the beautiful day not thinking about much but the warm sun and the cool breeze yet a third even worse crash appeared. Things that come to mind for me include: subconsious resisting change represented by the trip higher self trying to warn me off a wrong turning in life too much coffee any thoughts from some of you very smart and helpful people? |

Just follow your intuition and ask for answers.

Also, virtually none of these things that I "prophesied" came to be. I started doing some research about messages from Higher Self, etc. From everything I've read (and now from everything I've personally experienced) messages from HS (or God, or whatever) feel good. They are not scary. They are not sad. I believe, if my HS wanted me to avoid a flight, I would be given a different opportunity (like a cruise or something) and a feeling that it would be good to take that opportunity. This would not be a fear-inducing thought, but a peaceful one. I have come to believe that when I had those fearful thoughts, they were just a part of my brain playing tricks on me. It's the same part of my brain that likes to tell me that I'll fail, etc. Once I started ignoring those "messages", they came fewer and fewer. Now there is an occasional, and very feeble attempt every so often, but I barely notice anymore.
