Kabbalistic Self-Initiation (the Cross)

This is, to all intents and purposes, a Ritual of Self-Initiation. This ritual is given to as a means for him/her to come into contact with the invisible forces of Nature and to learn how to direct those elementary forces.
Before you start, imagine that there is a glowing light above your head (your Aura) and point your finger above your head an touch that light. After which;

Touching the forehead, say Ateh (Thou art)
Touching the navel, say Malkuth (The Kingdom)
Touching the right shoulder, say ve-Geburah. (And The Power)
Touching the left shoulder, say ve-Gedulah. (And the Glory)
Place the two palms of the hands together upon the breast, and say le-Olahm, (Forever)
Fingers pointing up, say Amen.

Thanks Andras for reminding me of this initiation. We used to do a version of it years ago as a part of archangelic invocation. It is a very powerful ritual. I remember the first time I did it I felt a very strong current of energy passing through my entire body down into the ground.

Yes, there is much to be found if you Google Kabbalah, mostly inaccurate... For example I have seen this ritual performed in English and I must say that is just plain wrong. You should know the meaning of the Hebrew words but any attempt to do this in English will just lead you ashtray.
Kabbalah=Hebrew in this context is the cosmic or divine language through which creation was/is enacted. This is not an intellectual language such as English, French, Chinese, etc. It is not used for purposes of communication between separate beings. Instead, it communicates intent and meaning directly into manifest substance, be it mental, astral or physical substance.

Kabbalistic texts are very similar to Alchemical texts. Both are cloaked in so dense a symbolism as to be penetrable only by those who already know enough to recognize what the author is speaking about. Many instances where readers have thought that one author is contradicting another are nothing more than instances where the separate authors are speaking of slightly different perspectives and are not in fact disagreeing with each other. But there are also many instances where authors do disagree and one must, in these cases, discern which is speaking from direct experience and which is speaking only from theoretical knowledge. Many books concerning kabbalah have been written by the latter and are completely useless.

Yes, there is a lot of info on the net, in books, but it often has nothing to do with what the rituals are about, or what is behind them, or what true info they convey. The true meaning of those things cannot be conveyed via most of the books ( people who are not really involved actually have no idea about the true meaning of what is written ), or via the info given on the net. This true meaning can be understood, or better to say felt when it is conveyed from a person who knows to another person. Or after the use of some special methods which activate the ability to understand those things in some proper way when physical, astral and mental bodies are synchronized.

Many of the rituals , from the kabbalah , or the golden dawn can be simpleified . Like the post I made on the circulation of white light . The golden dawn ritual , the L.B.R.P. and the middle pillar use the names of God in Hebrew , the version I posted does not . It works fine . desert rat
