Default Anyone willing to heal the traumas of my past?

I've had a lot of little traumas in my childhood and adolescence which have made me a bit fearful of people and this world. I have worked a lot with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), but there is just so much I've dealt with in my past... so many things which have caused little emotional traumas, the list would go on and on. I have so many bad memories and experiences. If anyone is willing to use their intuitive gifts to help me release these past traumas so I can have some emotional freedom and live a more comfortable life being able to do what I want to do without my nervous system taking control... I would really appreciate it.

TIME Techniques could really help you with that.

Angela Lord does them (www.feelgoodonpurpose.com)
and I do as well.

You can also google for more practitioners who use this.

For more info on it: What is TIME Techniques? |

Me, too.

And I can tell you this for sure: Nobody else can heal you, but you can heal yourself.

I did it without any real direct assistance (in fact, I had outright opposition from various sources), but I actually recommend seeing a counsellor who specialises in working with people who come from very traumatic backgrounds. You want someone who can teach you techniques that you can use to deal with these things and put them to rest.

It is absolutely possible to heal, even from layer after layer of trauma. Don't give up hope, okay?

This came from the higher mind today and I thought was quite relevant to your topic.

Picture yourself as a tree, with roots planted in the soil. The quality of the soil is the quality of your upbringing. If you grew up in poisoned earth then you are still living today in that same earth, drawing your nutrition from it every day. This is all trauma is, our roots are the paths within our subconscious that we created during the formative years and now are permanent. Most people have average to good roots so can't tell that they are even controlled by their past as it is so much a part of them.

People who have endured trauma are in a small way lucky in that they can tell the difference between what is them and what is their past controlling them. All those flashbacks, emotions that turn on and off, depression, self harm, addictive behavior patterns and so on are just us being controlled by our past and with a few simple processes it can all be resolved and discharged. Conventional wisdom doesn't understand this part yet.

Trees don't get a say in soil quality, they do the best with what they get and where they land. We aren't that different in many respects.

Overcoming childhood trauma is something I work with every day- not in myself but in somebody I have been working with over the last few years to release the effects of many years of hideous abuse. This is how we discovered the higher mind.

To say only you can heal your trauma is not entirely correct but certainly you can't sub-contract it to another either. Any method you can use by yourself or with another person that drills down through all the years and layers of reactive logic until you get to the tip of the root that is powering the behavior pattern will work as long as you get a realisation at the end of it. Once you start the process your mind won't let you stop so be prepared for a long ride.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that statement, but the second half is what I was trying to convey.

Bottom line: your life, your well-being, your health is YOUR responsibility.

It can be more complex and much more subtle, depending on the perspective you take and your levels of awareness, but for a general starting place: "you can heal yourself" is not an unreasonable truism.

What I mean is we all operate at some point between completely reactive and completely analytical. The more reactive we are, the less we are in control. When people say it is up to the individual to sort their life out, they underestimate the power the subconscious has over us. It always has the last say- there is a very sound reason for this.

Somebody who is "an alcoholic" is so because they are unable to take responsibility for their actions. Obesity, same. Anorexia, same. Aggression... and so on. The reason our world is 'suffering' is because our subconscious is running the show and we can't take responsibility for the things we can't control. If it were really easy to take responsibility for our actions then none of us would be on this forum right? It isn't easy. In many people it is so far on the wrong side of impossible they live and die without ever understanding how much their subconscious determines their actions without their consent.

An individual’s wellbeing is all our responsibility. That is an inclusive society and one that can heal itself. We will only come through enlightenment by being inclusive of all people, even right down to the most condemned.

Why seek others help when YOU are the best qualified to heal YOURSELF?
“The art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind.” Philipus Aureolus Paracelsus
