As the question would imply, what does that mean? I've heard many talk about living as making a lot of friends, going out into social settings, movies, clubs, museums, drinking, etc. But what if you genuinely don't want to do any of those things? What if you've already tried all of the things you've wanted to try and even the things you didn't really care to try? See, for me, my dream is to be a nurse, travel as much as I want, and write about my experiences, perceptions, etc. I want a Shiba Inu puppy that I can travel with and maybe one day have a man whom I love who loves me unconditionally. And I'd love to find a friend who connects with my soul as well. They're the only kind of friends I want. Nevertheless, I cannot honestly say that I'm enjoying the journey. I hate my nursing school because I feel it has been more of a personal detriment to me in some areas than a contribution to my personal development. But my goal is to graduate by 2013 with my BSN so I'm sticking it out. I have actually distanced and intentionally cut a lot of friends out of my life, I've outgrown many self-help books I've read and pretty much self-help altogether. But it bothers me that I am not feeling enthusiasm or really inspired in my heart anymore. I'm not enthused or passionate about my life and this makes me very uncomfortable. I'm use to feeling enthusiastic and passionate about something...but instead I just feel stillness. I've never really been happy. But enthusiasm and inspiration is something I do feel and this allows me to share with others. Now that I can't feel it, I don't know anymore. It's like I'm running on fumes.... |

I think you should read the article summited by JohnnyDeez, A Step by Step Method for Finding Your Passion and Living Your Biggest Dreams. You can find this article in character-contribution forum. This article should answer your question. I found this article very inspiring for me. Hope this will help! |
