I have been wondering this. Supposedly, one way or another we have accountability for our actions, this is true in almost all systems, either a life review, going back to life and pay, eternal hell with degree of punishments, or temporary hell until you pay off. My question is, how much accountability do you have for indirect acts? For example lets say, you get a gun and heashot someone in this case the 100% goes for you, but what if you hire someone? Is the "karma" split between both of you? Now the issue with Hitler is more complicated, because believe it or not. At least from the history lessons I have been taking, Hitler didnt gave a ♥♥♥♥ about the Jews, in fact the deathbed medic of his mother was a Jew and Hitler himself guarded him to safety. Jews were used as an scapegoat to use the hatred of people and manipulate them. The issue gets complicated further, once he was in power he really didnt gave a damn about them, but his followers took his speeches to heart and decided to act on this. Basically to my understanding it was Himmler and other higher-ups which really came with the plan and did it, Hitler since he had to keep the fachade merely gave the "ok". In short he really never cared about what happened to them, but allowed his followers to go ahead with his plans. So my question is, how much of the karma would go for him? Did the full "6 million deaths" go to him? Not only he wasnt physically executting the action, but he never really ordered it, he simply was indifferent but had the power to stop it and did not. Note please that I am not defending his actions or lack of actions at all, I am merely asking a question about how is karma defined when there is such a net of direct and indirect actions? Would the karma go to the soldiers that did that? To the masterminds of the plan? Or to the indifferent leader who could stop it but did nothing about it while expressing great delight? For example imagine you want to be president of a company, then you go and tell the directive board that all the problems of the company are thanks to the latin and black people working there, while you dont really care about them you use the hatred of the board to gain the presidency. Then while in the presidency the board which really believed in your words start to make a plan to fire all latin and black people without any consideration, while you can stop it you simply decide to not do anything about it and let them do what they want, remember you have to keep the mask. How responsible you are? |

I think it is more of us judging our selvs. Hilter and his band that took power may have to ansure to some one . If you count ever one that died in that part of the world because of Hilter the total is more like 50 million . What about presidents , or a king that sends an army in to battle ? Most do this thinking there on the right side . desert rat

Karma isn't like an account balance. It isn't like this gives you 1,000 karmic points and something else takes away 500. My opinion? You're responsible for the entirety of it. You're responsible for everything that happens in your life, whether or not it directly involves you. Why? Because everything you perceive around you reflects what is going on in your consciousness, whether conscious or subconscious (usually subconscious). Consciousness mirrors consciousness. It reflects the data within itself as seemingly real experiences that are "out there." You can tell the karma you are currently working through by the experiences in your life that are bothering you. They have their root within consciousness, not in any person. |

I don't have the answers to your questions Lucid. I think karma mostly has to do with intention, but how it all works specifically is a mystery to me and probably most everyone. Have you considered the possibility that you're interested in this because you are trying to protect yourself? Maybe the only way to answer this question is to surrender your fear and unask it. |
