Default Life Lessons Experience....

Hello everyone,

I am living with two people that has tested my patience since childhood until now. They have quite a long lists of request which in the past I couldn't grasp why are they pressuring me into becoming the "perfect" human being. I have went from nervous breakdown to suicidal. But now I understand why I am given those life lessons.

I have been asked about my beliefs in which religion, I didn't reveal much knowingly they will try to "brainwash" me into believing what they think is best for me. It still happens now, I have been "questioned" and "interrogated" but I knew this is one part of my life lessons I accept and to go through it until I am given the next life lesson.

I do believe that as long as I hold on tight to my beliefs and practice, they can't do much to affect my spiritual path.

What exactly are they trying to brainwash you into and what are your beliefs / practice?

Just curious, if it's private or something that's fine.

Like Taylor before me said, it is hard to respond without understanding a little more. Still, I had the hunch that you just aim to 'survive' while it always should be your aim to 'thrive'. Perhaps the confrontations that you are facing allow you to transcend your own belief system until the confrontation vanish once and for all. Does this resonate at all?

All the best,

Zeitgeist

One of them are practicing the Buddhism way of life only and doesn't agree that one could practice being spirituality. The other person is a free thinker and not giving up hope in "questioning" my practice and beliefs which I hope they will stop one day and focus on their own spiritual journey instead.

Zeitgeist, I am aiming to "thrive", they can't do much besides continuous yapping. I know it's part of lessons learned.

If you see that you are a spiritual being, then how can you practice what you are?

Same question though...How do you practice what you are?

To me, the path is not a practice but an discovery of the spiritual self. Like you're a fountain of joy metaphorically buried under hundreds of feet of the dirt of mental conditionings and beliefs, and the path is merely an excavation of that dirt, finally releasing your potential to bloom as that fountain for the benefit of all around you.

Practicing is "repetition" and repetition is adding more dirt, not removing it, to me. That repetition automates your beliefs so that they feel like spiritual truths instead of removing the beliefs and simply being spiritual.

Sure, because we want to communicate and not misunderstand.

I don't know if it's a misunderstanding between two people or a misunderstanding of life.

Ron,

Allow me to put it this way, plain simple English. I believe in learning up all the life lessons that I have sign up and pass with flying colors. Hope that helps clear up the misunderstanding.
