Default Hi everybody

I am new, hope this is informative, i have been into this topic for years, i would like to ask a question if any one can answer,

If there is no such thing as time in the astral worlds, how can a reincarnated boy meet his last life family ( which has happend and they have proof ) it seems like a paradox, because as i belive we live all our incarnations at the same time from a astral perspective.

I can't speak with any authority about "astral worlds" but in the material world, time is a function of space, and they're both illusory, according to Einstein, and to various generally accepted models in quantum physics.

In a very simple metaphor, think of a filmstrip. It's actually many photographs, each slightly different. There is no motion at all, just a series of still pictures. The motion is an illusion, generated by showing the pictures in very rapid succession.

I'd like to hear more about that. Do you have links or other information you could share?

A lot of things do. Many times, it's just our limited human perception that makes them look that way, not unlike the way it appears that the figures in a film are moving.

There is only now. If you meet your 'last life family', you create it now.

I just read a book called ultimate reality by i think Paul Allen, i may be wrong, any way its a great book, in it he discribes a TV documentry about a young Indian boy who knew he had another family in the next village, he picked out his old last life wife, his kids and told the wife where he hid the gold in the house, they shaved the young boys head and he had berth marks in the exact same place where the autopsy report said the bullet killed him in his previous life.

But how can this happen if there is no Time, i know there is ` only now` , but it messes with your head.

There is time. Time does exist. But only as a concept. There is also a now that exists only as a concept in relation to past and future. And then there is NOW which is prior to concepts.

Can you be a bit more specific about what the actual paradox is as you see it? I don't see anything paradoxical about someone dying, reincarnating in a new body, and retaining memories of the previous incarnation.

Well, time is basically just change. If there is no change, there is no time. You would have no way of measuring it, because time is just a measure of change. Now, all states of change are already enfolded in the universal consciousness. As an analogy, it is like a projector with a roll of images. All the images exist right now. However, on the projector only one is illuminated at a time. When you are physically incarnated you are moving through that projector slide by slide. When your body dies, you come into a slightly broader perspective where you don't have to go through the slides in a one by one linear order. You can skip around to different images, or states of change (or states of "time" if you prefer to call them that).

In the astral world, or immediate after death perspective, there is still a "time" of sorts. But, as I said before, it is a broader perspective. Time is "looser" there. You can play with it a bit. You can move up and down time-lines, because they are just images in the projector. There are much, much, higher vantage points than the astral, though. At the highest or most broad perspective, there is absolutely no change whatsoever, so there is no time. All states of time are enfolded within this infinite container that is consciousness.
