Urantia book???

I've read the Urantia book but I didn't understand most of it.
So what are some of your guyses opinions on it?
Is it bunk? Does it hold a lot of insights? Is it the new Bible?


I think it had some good points......not sure though. I was mostly trying to just figure out the main idealogy behind the whole book.

Is the book worth anything? Or is it just a load of crap?

I got it when this threat came up and am reading their interpretation of the new testament. I am not loosing sleep over the question whether it is authentic not; the story was definitely created by a creative mind.

I think it is a load of crap, it is fiction at best. My BS-meter goes hey-wire whenever someone claims to hear voices of god or "channels" this or that. Each and everyone of us HAVE a high intuition and a guide and we can and should listen to THAT carefully - not to these charlatans who are either making this BS up as they go or what they truly receive is misdirection and false information. Either way, just ignore it!
P.S. it is not that people cannot make contact with the other side it is that usually the other side is not what it claims to be.
