I'm self-diagnosed ADD but to me ADD and bipolar are the negative mix between high intelligence/creativity and the society at large.

To me, the negative aspects of both ADD and bipolar are due to the negative self image we grow up with, the social pressure to be an obedient sheep, and our negative behaviors like addictions or outburts are simply a reaction to living a repressed life, not knowing self and not being understood in the world.

To me, we can't be part of the masses because we can see beyond what the masses see. That's not an ego trip but simply for whatever reason, we have a sharper vision and what society at large is interested in, we aren't.

To me, whenever I am free just to be myself, life is amazing.

Great! Be sure to watch all the videos....my favorites were #1, 13, 14 and i think 21...theres one that expands on 13 and 14. The author is a great guy....

I've been diagnosed with bipolar, but I don't take my medicine anymore. I knew the whole time that they just didn't understand, but everyone was pushing me so hard like I had to take them. I eventually got sick of it, and don't take it anymore. It's unfortunate that just because the people around me can't understand what I'm talking about assume something negative. I did have one experience that I can understand them concerned about, but to me my "manic" attacks were just times when I had incredible awareness, and was trying to understand it. To me, it's about trying to live with as high of awareness as possible without alerting others too much lol.

It's the same for everyone. It's just that we are the black sheep.
