"If you lived honestly, your life would heal itself" is a quote shared by BillyThe Adult in this forum and I think it hits the nail in the head (very much like your last one, so thanks for sharing the nuggets of wisdom)! If you want to know how to reach enlightenment or wholeness, that's all there is. I think Alfred Adler developed a similar notion as well, that is, life has a habit of making you whole if you just let it. The trick though, you have to have something that is holy to you, your word, your spiritual path, your family, your work ethic, etc. Once you give the system something to work with, i.e. living honestly, it will present you all your significant life decisions in light of these constraints.
