I liked it too, so simple

When I have kids it'll be their first piece of homework

Yeah.... I was never a very good student. Homework was something other people did.

Really useful list, I especially liked #7, and only recently understood what
this means. This should be given to every child that is born together with
his gift certificate and hanged on the wall in his room. The list is so simple,
and profound, quite shocking actually to think about all these things that
have been around, the many wisdoms, and we only become aware of them
after going through so many painful lessons.

I'm not speaking for everyone in that last sentence, but that has been very
true for me, which shows that #5 is something that I have been seriously
ignoring my whole life. Thanks for posting this.

Ok... all seriousness aside.... no... wait... I mean all "kidding" aside... yeah.. that's it. ANYWAY, I think #8 is my fav.
