Synchronicities - your experiences

I noticed on a thread about the Larry King show where Steve Pavlina wrote about the synchronicity of John Assaraf from The Secret calling him.

That made me wonder what synchronistic (coincidental) experiences you've all had?

Over the past few years of my spiritual journey i've encountered many - they include:

Many times I have been thinking about someone and then very soon after i hear from them in person, by phone or email.

A book or film just comes to me that really changes my perspective - could be a friend giving or talking about, or a random event that introduces me to it.

Sometimes these things introduce something new to my life sometimes something i have been thinking about just finds its way to me.

Synchronistic events have even occurred through 'bad' events, like missing a train or bus, not finishing something on time or being late for something. Sometimes time shows that they weren't that appropriate for me despite my trying to force things.

Writing this its hard to come up with more specific things as there have been so many - I will add to this as i remember them, but i'd love to hear yours too

Sychronicities have came thick and fast as I have opened myself up to them. I feel I am currently riding along on the crest of an information wave. Let me explain.

A while back I saw a movie called Good Will Hunting. This movie changed the way I thought about a lot of things, namely my own brain. Now for anyone familiar with this movie, Will Hunting is a fictional genius character, but the main theme I extracted from it was that I really should get my brain into shape.

When I saw Will Hunting (Matt Damon) rhyme off a paragraph ver batim from a textbook, complete with page number, I was thirsty for more knowledge of this amazing feat. So I opened myself up to the fact that I could learn if I believe.

Many books have landed on my lap that, with practice, have made my mind perform at a level I would have thought impossible.

For example, after research and PRACTICE, I can memorise backwards and frontwards, more than 150 digits in a little over the time it takes to read them. Now, any brain can do this but the point is that I have learnt a seemly unlearnable skill due to a chain of sychronicities. With the firm belief that sychronicities are occuring everywhere for me, I have no doubt that my Brain's capabilities will stretch into even more unbelieveable avenues than I have already experienced.

I've had quite a few synchronicities... many of them happened when I was working on my last two blog major blog posts, both on Evil (my view of the nature of the universe) and on Why (why I selected my life purpose). There have been some *very* good results from those two in my life, not the least of which is that my relationship with my wife has gone far beyond anything that I could have ever expected.

It seems that the idea of blogging for personal development really is paying off.


...Now if I could just find a way to get paid in cash...

Sometimes I experience periods of an hour or two where every moment is a synchronicity. Every word I read, everything anyone says, it's seems like all the information is coming from a higher source. Someone will be talking to me about any ordinary thing, but I understand it as guidance about my life or ways to think about life etc. It's quite overwhelming. I wonder if this is happening all the time, but I am just not aware of it...
