Like Attracts Like...Right?

If 'like attracts like', as in we attract people with similar vibrational levels, what does it mean when a lower vibration person is attracted to a higher vibration person?

I get confused when I hear "like attracts like" because I also hear that "opposites attract".

"opposites attract" because they are alike in their opposite-ness, in the spectrum of duality.

It may act as a reminder that people of different vibrations are a part of All That Is.

I can't really say if 'like attracts like' has any reality. I can say everything outside of you is a reflection of yourself shown in different forms. So in a mirror-type way you could say like attracts like, since you're looking at a reflection of yourself in real time.

Here's the thing about reflection: Reflection shows you what you're creating and have lost awareness of. So the mean person in your experience is showing you you've got some meanness in yourself that you've lost awareness of. The situation with this person is to allow you to receive the creation and yourself as the creator of it. (That way it doesn't have to repeat.)

You're current self-evaluation of your vibration has nothing to do with the experience. You can create nice and mean at the same time and only be aware of one. The reflection brings that which you are unaware to your consciousness.

One act of creation doesn't cancel out others. All creations are additive.
