I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal lord and savior last year as a re-born Christian and it has made a dramatic difference in my life. I lived a wicked existence and repented and I thank God everyday that I have been forgiven and can be loved by the Father and my personal savior. I can now feel him next to me and with me everyday where before there was just a hole in my life that I could not fill no matter what I did.

Are there any fellow Christians or born again Christians on the spirituality forum?

I believe that people are trying to defeat us as we spread the truth of Christianity and the Bible to God's children and we need to stick together in order to beat the forces of darkness and Satanic influences that are winning the battle.

I like the system of being a born again Christian, do whatever I want be wicked than when i'm done I can turn to god and be absolved of all my sins.

I'm curious did you feel Jesus before you turned to Christianity or after?

Jesus has always been there, and he is there for you too, if you reach out for him.

My friend got me involved in a local church that has saved my life and it was then that I truly found my savior. I went to church when I was younger but it was only because my family made me.

Are you a Christian?

For most folks, trying is GOOD ENOUGH

Not sure which mod did the banning, but it looks like this member was trolling in some other threads, so that was probably the reason.

It certainly isn't the first time we've had a zealot cast judgment on this community... and see it as their duty to convert us all to wafer eaters.

I didn't see any condemnation in his post, OR attempts to convert us. Whoever it was seemed to be looking for allies or fellow christians! The person said Ï believe people are trying to defeat us"...they didn't say specifically US!

I would not trust anyone behind a keyboard who would dare call a thread "Jesus is Lord" anymore than I would trust a drunk driver behind the wheel.

But, totally separate from this thread elucidate, loveandlight has been trolling like crazy, and I mean crazy, and speaking of drunk...I'm pretty sure alcohol was involved in many posts he/she made lol

Also usually with a hope of getting banned. Often Christians instigate "persecution" because if they are persecuted, they become blessed in Heaven.

So basically if you can't hold a regular conversation with a Christian, there's a good chance they are hoping to push one of your buttons. If they belong to a church you can be sure their congregation is reading this thread right now and praying for us.

Any clear trolling posts are usually deleted by us, since it kinda defeats the purpose to ban the troll but to leave the trolling posts...

So most likely you will not ever see an offensive post on the forum for which someone was banned.

Well, in the specific case of zealotry, they're not trying to troll, but they're also not willing to take a forum for what it's worth: conversation. It's a kind of accidental trolling that's more pathetic than malicious, but malice isn't the reason trolls are banned. They're banned because they destroy conversations, which subverts the entire point of forums being around in the first place.

There have been some very excellent threads where Christians, even hardcore evangelicals, actually showed up and had good conversations here. They weren't banned because they were listening as much as they were talking. And there's the really fun Kenyan guy who, for the life of me, I can't stop laughing at, but he's so beautifully sincere with his exclamation points. I don't think he's banned but I don't remember his username.
