i just woke up from a very uncool dream! maybe i'm watching too many heroes it was a blind date that my friends had set up with a guy i had a crush on, and later on, when the dream starts getting intimate, no. that wasn't the guy i had a crush on. it was the guy that sexually assaulted me. fmd. Its the whose in charge of my dream question that I want to know! Last edited by queryfairy7; 11-04-2010 at 04:50 AM. |

You are. And all this serves a kind of purpose. I would suggest that there is something about that other guy that you still haven't fully processed to a point that you can "live with it", so it gets thrown back up piecemeal in order to allow you to digest it at your own pace. Or, it serves to hint at a fear you're having, and allowing you to find ways to cope with it. This is usually the case with recurring dreams that pester and plague us until something in us changes, and we manage to deal with it or at least don't see it as threatening anymore (expanded understanding). I hope this makes sense to you. Short version: something is plaguing your subconscious, and it uses your dreams to tell you and give you an opportunity to deal with it within a controlled environment (the dream) where you can't really be harmed. |

Maybe its just the part of yourself that is sick of getting hurt, warning you to not be naive, etc. For the most part it seems more like it's a dream calling you to be more aware of who you let into your life. But what do I know? Think about it and decide for yourself. |
