Smile Trying new fun things

I have a question.

What if i get to the state of heaven conciousness where i dont need to have certain things but in heaven or whatever i still want to try some fun things, not ALL, but just some, such as bungee jumping or diving. Ya know, I dont want to waste time doing some of these things on earth and some cant be done under circumstances.

For instance, on earth, right now, i dont need video games or possessions for the most part. I dont own a lot of stuff but i got rid of the stuff i didnt need and all my video games when i realized i didnt need them. You know, the things you own end up owning you. Im kind of at the dont need earthly stuff stage but ya know, in the afterlife id still like to try things , even if i got to the point where i know i didnt need to. Im just wondering if this is possible or will it even matter at that point because i wont WANT those types of new experiences anyways.

=)

Your username made me really, really want some cheesy dip. Or my mom's homemade onion dip. Mmmm.

Anyway, yeah, dude, live it up. Life is meant to be lived, not to be sitting around with a cheshire cat grin because you don't need any of it. Of course I don't need to be playing music but I very, very, very much want to be. There's a healthy difference between needing something and wanting something.

We make our own heaven, where our soul has free rein to paint it's heaven upon the canvas of the cosmos like a master artistic genius, free from the limitations, distractions and doubt of the physical world.

Living in a state of heaven , and not wanting any thing sounds like Zen Buddhism . For the most part Buddhist monks live a simple life , I dont know how they feel about bungee jumping . We do create our own reality , that is what is behind creative visualztion/ l.o.a.

I don't see any reason you can't do whatever you want.

I'll bet some people would like to sit and just observer the beauty of creation. Nothing wrong with that at all. Others want to do stuff. Others like both.

I canceled cable tv a long time ago to save money for other fun things. I sometimes like to watch tv or movies still, though, so I do (by antenna or Netflix). They say as above, so below. So I think "heaven" will have stuff that's fun to do just like here, only x a million.

Well I don't believe in the afterlife, that provides an easy answer, do it now. There is no credible evidence to support an afterlife.

That being said, you clearly still want these things, you are just denying them to yourself. While that is still the case you are not going to get into this state that you desire.

Bungee jumping and skydiving can both be taken care of in one weekend. Video games are more long term and delaying to your spiritual journey. Just weigh the pros and cons of it. I know that I had a motorcycle cross-country fantasy a while back and finally decided against it, and now looking back I'm so glad I made that choice. The rewards are not worth the risks. I just chose a safer adventure.

The reason we want to try these things is because we believe they will yield some fun and happiness, which they probably will in our current state of consciousness. If you reach "heaven consciousness" however, you'll be so happy that you won't even want to do them, and it won't be out of deprivation, it's because you're already so happy it wouldn't occur to you to try those things. It won't be an issue once you reach that state, trust me. Until then, sure try new things. It might even help your spiritual journey. I think adventures teach you to overcome fears and embrace life.

Oh great! Now I realize my username conflicts with my values of being Vegan.

Now I'll have to change it to "VeganCheesedip1"

Lol, your prolific pot usage seeps through your words. To this day my girlfriend still calls me a pothead even though I haven't smoked in years because of the way I approach certain things with a lighthearted comical way.
