Integrative & Integral Spirituality :: Open Source Spirituality for an Awakening (R)evolutionary Divine

1,000 Searchable Sacred Texts, Open Source Spirituality in Action
Integrative Spirituality provides the only place on the Internet where you can search 1,000 of the world’s key sacred religious texts simultaneously. This will allow you to see how the many different religious traditions address an issue. Providing this spiritual research tool is part of our commitment to Open Source Spirituality. Integrative Spirituality is not necessarily endorsing anything and everything found within these sacred texts from humanity’s various religious traditions. The Spiritual principles that we do endorse are found only in other sections on this website and are clearly labeled as our own principles and codes."

Energy Work - AFT (Attractor Field Therapy) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Here are a few great sites for those interested in Energy Work. This correlates to the concepts of Attractor Fields as discussed by David Hawkins which is an important and misunderstood aspect of the Law of Attraction. These sites include lots of free information regarding technique and also some very valuable articles on theory and how it relates to spirituality. They of course also want to sell you things, but the free information makes them well worth a visit.

AFT (Attractor Field Therapy) This sites provides free instructions on how to clear your energy fields and includes formulas to use for different conditions under the link Attractor Field Technique. Be sure to read the related articles.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) This site demonstrates a simplified method of clearly your energy fields and you can receive a free PDF download if you are interested in trying it out.

Tapping This site includes some great videos which clearly demonstrate the concepts shown at the EFT site above. These videos make the technique very easy to understand.

Namaste!
Sunny

Great thread.

Here's an amazingly comprehensive site:

The Internet Sacred Text Archive:
Internet Sacred Text Archive Home

"Welcome to the largest freely available archive of online books about religion, mythology, folklore and the esoteric on the Internet. The site is dedicated to religious tolerance and scholarship, and has the largest readership of any similar site on the web."

They include not only esoteric stuff, but mainstream classics like "Think and Grow Rich" and many more. Poke around--you'll be amazed.

For those into nonduality/advaita, there is a podcast called 'Out of Our Minds'. There are over 20 episodes and it is nearing its first year anniversary...all the episodes are on the main website at Awaken to Life with Eric Putkonen (Advaita Vedanta, Zen Buddhism, Jnana Yoga).

There are also some articles, links, and such on the site. Everything on the site is free.

My favorite spiritual resources:

The Headless Way -- Douglas Harding - Excellent excercises to "See who you really, really are" as Douglas Harding used to say. Thanks to his work I finally understood non-duality and Oneness and make the experience of it part of my daily life

Spiritualteachers.org: Your place for spiritual teachers - Great hub with links to many sites and teachers. The rankings of spiritual teachers are fun too.

TAT Foundation | Spiritual Search Site and Place of Friendship - The TAT foundation was founded by Richard Rose, i.m.h.o. an underestimated spiritual giant. Lots of info and great articles in the monthly online magazine

Developmental Stages in Spirituality

After spending many ears as a "seeker" I think Ken Wilber's works clarified a lot of the confusion I was having about what I "saw" in the "spiritual world".

One aspect of it was how can a Muslim Suicide bomber, the Pope, a "New Age Hippy", and the Dali Lama all be "inspired" by spirituality?

A good introduction to Ken's thought is this article on belief net:

Which Level of God Do You Believe In?

To delve further into Ken's works, check out all the A/V on the intergralnaked.org website.

Also, I highly recommend the talks from Genpo Roshi and all the teachers at the Kanzeon Zen Center which are available at: Zen Eye.

Finally I put together my own "cliff notes" for anyone interested in exploring Buddhism: Integral Buddhism - Outline for "progressing" in meditation.

Hi babuji,

Thanks for the references. Swami Vivekanande was an enlightened soul, far ahead of his times. And his books have eternal value, even though he lived in a different time.

Today, though times and people are different, his teachings still have a lot of value. Everybody is looking for peace of mind because somewhere there is an empty space, a vacuum in people.
