Default Any info on Chakras PLEASE! (Big or small)

I gained my psychic abilities about a year or two ago and I've found a passion. I really love meditation and I've started the path to opening my third eye.

I've always loved martial arts, tai chi, yoga and meditation but not really the westernized form of it. I found the spiritual part sits with me better, not praising a specific god but doing it for purposes other than staying fit and being cool; I like the peace it brings me and the balance I achieve.

I want to start the path to opening ALL my chakras. The part that I get stuck on is the parts I can not find information about on the internet.

I can manipulate energy rather well moving my Dan Tien energies the ways I wish but the lack of knowledge isn't what I want to have to endure on this path.

Is there a certain order I have to open them? What they represent and how they get blocked?

I want to become enlightened but unlike someone who was on this forum, I want to become this way for good reasons, I want to bring peace to myself and others.

Any tidbits of info or references would be greatly appreciated. BTW: I hope this is the right thread, I couldn't think of a better one.

I got into chakras from a pretty young age. My parents got into this kind of stuff and taught me some basics which I experimented with up until college when I met a girl who taught me a whole lot more stuff. Then I really started really getting into it and I'd like to say I've got a pretty all round understanding of the chakras now, but you find one thing out and another mystery pops up, it seems forever.

The one big huge piece of advise I can give you is to also include your hands/arms and feet/legs into your chakra practice. Infact you should do more work on them than any other part of your chakra system!!

People often leave out the limb chakras because they're just not as exciting as opening up your 3rd eye and starting to see visions and epiphanies! Personally I don't touch my third eye at all anymore. I can see the auras of my hands in the dark with my eyes closed, and my sense of visualization is greatly improved and that's good enough for me. I have no desire to go beyond that until maybe much later on in life.

So what's all the fuss I'm making then about the limbs? ...

I'll explain:

There are Primary energy centers, Secondary energy centers and Tertiary energy centers.

The Primary energy centers are the chakras you're familiar with. E.g. the crown, third eye, throat, heart, solarplexus, sacral and root.

All Primary chakras use energy, just like a component on a circuit board does. So with each Primary chakra you activate the more energy demand you're going to be placing on your energy body. The more you develop these Primary chakras, the more the demand increases.

It's SO common for someone to activate a bunch of Primary chakras and feel great for awhile and eventually find themselves with neat abilities but they also get chronic fatigue syndrome because all their physical energy is being used up to power the Primary chakras.

I hate to say it, but you see this dynamic so much. There's these guys who are pretty spiritual with developed Primary higher chakras mainly, but they're just the least charismatic, unhealthy looking, tired and depleted people you've ever met. But at the same time they have fantastical 3rd eye visions and a sense of unity through their crown so they probably don't really care too much about the other stuff.

Anyway... you also have Secondary and Tertiary energy systems which function as a support network for your primary chakras. The important ones are in the legs/feet and arms/hands. It's mainly through these chakra systems that your Primary chakras get their energy.

What happens if you activate your Primaries without your Secondary/Tertiary support network? You have a huge energy demand which tires you out because you burn your physical/sexual life force to meet the demand because there's just not enough energy input elsewhere. On the good side; the demand also stretches and develops your support network automatically through just putting pressure on those systems. But this is so slow without your conscious intervention. To get your normal energy levels back we're talking years. And that's if you're not continually trying to increase the power of your Primaries all the time. If you are, then just add on even more years until they catch up.

SO in order to avoid this you put the power of your consciousness, which you used to open your Primary chakras, into opening up your support network chakras (secondary/tertiary). This means that the demand your Primaries are generating is being met by your support system, so you're a supercharged love machine. Or whatever you're looking to achieve is greatly enhanced basically.

I'm going to stop myself here because I could literally talk about this kind of thing for days.

I suprisingly know a lot about chakra's and next to nothing for having finally learned about them october last year

This is what I suggest.. our mineral friends.. I mean crystals have innate abilities to open pathways inside you.. I suggest you explore a crystal *fetish* if you can..

There is a LOT of information on chakras out there. Entire books have been written about them. For example

Caroline Myss, Anatomy of the Spirit
Anodea Judith, Wheels of Life

The psychic development audio programs by John Edward and John Holland both include info on chakras. Erin wrote about them on her blog. They are part of the Soul Realignment curriculum. Anna Conlan (Psychic But Sane) includes them in her psychic development course and has a guided meditation about them. You can find chakra cleansing and opening guided meditations all over the place online. Any book on energy work or energetic protection is very likely to talk about them.

Actually, I feel like there is no way to avoid information about chakras.

And yes, I agree: I recommend to include at least the hands and feet additionally to the main chakras. The hands and feet are very important.

Hm, never knew that. Although I did see the primary chakra systems EVERYWHERE nothing I found was about secondary... I did notice that I am drained after using my abilities for a while and understand how this can happen. I guess I need more research before I do any serious training. Thank you guys. More info from anyone will still be much obliged

Yeah that's why I gave that particular bit of advise, because it's hard to find that information.

If I were to recommend one thing to read about chakras/energywork, I'd recommend New Energy Ways - by Robert Bruce (link to the full free tutorial)
And I'd recommend reading the whole thing and doing the practices from the beginning. He goes into the importance and development of the supporting energy structures in the tutorial as well.

You don't even use visualization with these techniques because you're working directly with the etheric body which responds more powerfully (a lot more so) to touching with your consciousness. Touch-ualization? lol

This one I read many years ago:

Theories of the Chakras: Bridge to Higher Consciousness

and found it very good at the time.

I can't wait to read it! I'll do it tonight or as soon as possible. There's a birthday today
