Anyone else out there using Holosync Technology by Centerpointe Research Institute? I started with the free trial, then ordered the first round of CDs and have been using them about a week. I am amazed by the experience I am having! I am wondering if there is anyone that has been using them longer than I have. I am curious to know what your experience has been?

| I don't really know the answer to that. Right now I am starting with "The Dive" which is only 30 minutes in length. I listen to "The Dive" by itself for 14 days and then add "Immersion" which is also 30 minutes in length so the whole meditation would be 1 hour. This lasts for about four months at which point you move to another level. I don't know what happens in other levels.

I used it for a few months and I liked it a lot. I recommended it to my friends, who also liked it. After a session it feels really peaceful, as if nothing could bother you The only thing is that it's easy to get lazy and stop doing it (which is what happened to me I've also heard of people doing visualizations and affirmations while using Holosync, to great effect. And Paul Scheele's paraliminals (as sponsored by Steve) use Holosync technology as well. edit: In the levels afterwards, it is still 1 hour long, but it takes you into deeper theta/delta frequencies and with higher(?) amplitude. I think each level is 6 months, 12 levels in all? 13 if you count prologue. Some people have come out with user-made meditation tracks similar to Holosync using the free BWGen. They claim that they figured out exactly what was in the track, and made identical ones (minus the extraneous rain/bell sounds, which you can add on if you want). Might be something people are interested if they feel they can't afford Holosync proper -- if you google search diligently enough you'll find it Last edited by ethereal; 03-10-2007 at 06:16 PM. |

I am not using Holosync per say but I am using another CD which utilizes binaural beats also. I am also like ethereal a bit unmotivated I have also found software & an associated forum of people who create their own Holosync type tracks. They also have technology on there that is not utilizing binaural beats so one could theoretically use their stereo surround system & gain the same effects. I have not personally tried it but I have heard it works also. I have been using my CDs for about 3 weeks now & have found them to be relaxing but the side effect I wanted (less sleep required) isn't happening yet. |

@sunny: There's a lot of us on this forum that use Holosync. I'm currently on Level 1 of the program (the level after the prologue). Before H/S, I started with an app called brainwave generator creating my own tracks based on the research I had done into brainwave states and meditation. But I soon switched over to Holosync because they've already done all the research that I wouldn't be able to do. Once I started, everything started changing - for the better. I began to get results about a week in. You can run a search on this forum for Holosync and it will return a list of discussions about it. There is even a user posting his experiences on his blog. There's also a dedicated forum for H/S which is extremely valuable. You can find it at: http://pat.powerfulintentions.com/forum/holosync I recently had a huge and very stressful project come up and can say with 100% certainty, if I had not been using H/S, I would not have survived the project. I would have had a panic attack or something! It continues to provide more and more value to my life. It's the best way to meditate! |

This sounds like what R. Monroe was doing with himi sync. Something like a 400hz sig. in one ear 403hz sig. in the other the 3hz differnce did something in the brain . Or maby this is entirely differnt. desert rat ( hz is hertz )

from what I have read holosync promotes "calm" brain waves. I always thought that is what meditation promoted. according to Lynn McTaggert in the intention experiment - meditation actually promotes very high frequency waves - gamma. ???
