Default Not afraid of death but afraid of life

They say that people who are not afraid of death live fearless. But I don't think its true thought. I'm not afraid of dying and I wouldn't mind actually. I believe I would be much happier if I left this place, because it feels like I'm suffocating. It's like I don't mind being in this place but at the same time I don't want to be here. I just don't have that drive to take risk when it comes to what society expects you to do (career, money, high-tech, clothes, and other things) but feel pressure to do so by others. I get bored of things easily, like I have no desire. My only desire is to find something that I will enjoy life, but I haven't found that . I don't know I just need some answers from what others think about this...

You sound like you might have some depression. It is hard to give you advice because your state of mind might not be able to accept it at this time.

Try to go outside, park, a walk, etc.
Try to find something that you enjoy doing to keep your mind busy.

Life is stressful, specially when you feel like society or your peers have expectations of you. Live each day separately and try to stay positive. You don't want to attract bad energy.

Do what makes you happy and not what you think is expected of you.

I could have depression but I don't think I have depression. I guess I don't like that label because its over used. I don't mind doing things in life, I still enjoy something about it but at the same time this place bores me. I don't mind listening to music, hiking and doing all that because when I can I do it. I don't know I just find this place more and more uninteresting.

Thanks for validating that we have all the answers.. and you have none.. obviously

I say you're lying to yourself on this.. but you know that don't you?

Everyone has fear.. our entire society is designed around fear.. it's a basis for "who we are" currently.. why would we have bombs or police or jury's or executions? if we weren't a fearful society..

Were afraid of death.. were afraid loneliness.. were afraid of lack.. were afraid of lack even when we have riches

But fear is a illusion.. and returning yourself to your power is a choice and right.. it's your right to remember/to know fear is a illusion.. and to stop making the EXTERNAL world and events consume you..

I look around daftly at some of the expressions in the world.. when I hear "9/11 matters" "Them mexicans/immigration are evil" "I need health care! I don't even know why.. but it matters! I needs it!"

You see to me these statements are illogical.. they don't make sense.. because they say from the individual.. "I have no power" "I have no ability to make change" "The politicians have all the power" "The corporations have all the power" "The people with money have all the power" and I have none!

The idea is many of you feel powerless to make change.. because no ones told you how to make change for yourself.. and that's why I'm here on this forum studying the "law of attraction" cause in it I see power.. for each individual.. in it I see my ability to reach out and change things.. and have done it many times.. all while sitting in the background unnoticed/unaware by my fellow humans for the things I have created and or helped co-create

Alright, where was I?

I don't think it's true either (possible yes) but FEAR is a very deep river that effects all things in all ways.. you can find it everywhere, in every form.. I mean why do we have door locks?

Ohh, yah.. we fear serial killers and robbers.. ironically our serial killer protection system is the most fallible of all.. since all of us love windows.. and there so easy to break

You would be much happier.. I agree with you.. still.. if your alive right now.. I say there's a *reason* maybe you should figure out what that is..

Because this a "tough" school.. earth.. and it takes strong and weak people to even attempt it

Yes, indeed many people are afraid to be themselves here.. fear of rejection, ridicule.. read some of our threads.. some people are afraid of dancing in public.. hell, I can be in that category..

Here's some truthful advice.. try and live every day like it's your last..

I get weird looks from people when I say.. I don't celebrate birthdays or christmas or things like that.. but it's simple everyday to me is a UNBIRTHDAY.. every day to me is a CHRISTMAS.. I do everything I want every day.. no option is off the table.. however I do have my fears like everyone else and things I prefer not to do..

Keep asking.. it's not that hard.. if that doesn't work.. think back to when you were a child.. and what you enjoyed back then..

How about flying a kite?

Or making a sand castle?

Or macaroni art?

*Damn* you're a hard case!

The reason I'm like this is because I'm in a stage of life where I'm trying to find out what I really want to do with life. I feel stuck and its frustrating.

Yeah, the thing I know all of this. That I shouldn't care but for some reason I do. It's like we all have the answers inside but we still don't know how to fully used them.

Everything is so simple when you're kid because you don't have to worry about the responsibilities. That is why when an adult is around a baby or a toddler they feel different. Also when they're around a pet as well.

Maybe I also feel like that because of the restrictions I have felt in my life. Everything is created for a reason, but being patient while everyone is ahead and getting left behind is like being stuck in four square walls.

I guess I'm , but thank your for your opinion/advice .

Take your "stuckness" and your EGO.. and just chill.. that's my solemn advice..

It's the EGO that is making a big deal here.. your higher self.. your spiritual self.. even your emotional self.. doesn't make that big a deal.. only your EGO.. looks in a mirror Judges yourself and says "unworthy" "bad"

(it's not all EGO.. there is beliefs and definitions) but who do you think created these things..?? *cough* EGO

Basically, I am telling you to ignore the problem.. I'm telling you to not think .. I'm telling you every time you feel the subject of lack coming on and.. I'm not having fun.. and this sucks.. shift the perspective.. go watch a movie.. go the park.. find your highest excitement in that moment (even if it's a MUH! ) and go do it.. and then do the next one.. until you're not feeding into a cycle of judging yourself.. and saying.. "I'm bored" this sucks

This is a very tough game.. if it were a cake walk we wouldn't have this forum? or wars? or miss-understandings? or the list goes on and on.. the secret is to let it all go.. and focus on what's important to you.. and hopefully if your focusing.. that's a internal journey.. not external..

Yes, but this is why adults get it so wrong.. it's cause of that idea of "responsibilities" that things get messed up.. in the act of giving to others.. people stop "taking" for themselves and as such.. they get Angry, Resentful, Hateful, Unhappy and the list goes on..

The truth is were in a *new* era whether you've awakened to it or not.. this is the era.. where people "don't need you to take care of them anymore".. This is the era where everyone will learn to take care of themselves.. and even be responsible for themselves including their own problems/faults.. this is the ERA where the "blame game" ends or so sayeth my *new age* teachers..

Why don't you try it?

Be responsible for your happiness?

If you're not happy.. get up and go make yourself happy.. be responsible for how you feel.. and as you try and get up.. and your EGO shoots you down from a place of FEAR and fitting in.. tell it to calm down, it will be okay.. and you'll find a way..
