Recently I've heard from two sources that an object can influence your energy field. And I actually have seen a demonstration (in the vid). This sort of makes sense to me from my limited knowledge of physics. But I want to ask you to (dis)approve of this concept. First time I've heard this from Dr Wayne Dyer's "Power Of Intention" video seminar. He was talking about his son listening to gangster rap music. Wayne then asked his son to put the CD to his heart and then Wayne was able to push his son's arm down with his two fingers, because the CD had negative energy and disempowered his son. Then Wayne asked his son to put an organic banana to his heart and that made him strong again, and Wayne was not able to push his son's arm down. The second time I've heard this from James Arthur Ray's video seminar called "Quantum Creations" (total crap btw, just repackaged Proctor's material, delivered in a very cheesy manner). James had a demo on stage with two women from the audience (seemed legit). James had two unlabeled envelopes. One of the envelopes contained chemical sweetener and then other organic sugar or something like that. James asked both women to hold their arm out horizontally and hold the envelope with the other arm close to their solar plexus. Obviously when they held chems, they had no power and he was able to push their arms down with two of his fingers. And when they held the sugar, they were strong. Both women agreed that he was using the same amount of pressure. And of course, a question stems up right away. Would this be subjective? I.e. if I think that gangster rap is the shiz, then I am going to be empowered by it. Same as if some person truly beleives that bananas are poisonous, then he/she will be disempowered by them. But then again, in James examples the envelopes had no indication what is in them, so how could it be? I am confused! How real is this? |

Hi moltar. The information and explanations you are looking for are in the book Power vs Force by David Hawkins. Not sure if I am phrasing this in the correct manner, but the answer to your question is that the response is not drawn from each individual but from the field of consciousness so it does not depend on the opinion of the person being tested. I know this probably leads to many more questions and others might be able to do a better job explaining it, but if you are very interested I would suggest you take a look at the book.

This is a great question! In Power vs Force, Hawkins says that people can be empowered by things that are in higher consciousness levels than the one they are currently in. Someone who is at apathy or fear can be empowered by messages of pride, anger, desire, eg in gangster rap. So technically, it would seem that people at lower levels would test strong with messages that would make higher consciousness people test weak. But this subjectivity is only mentioned in his theory, he doesn't make any mention of it in actual testing, as far as I can see in his works. Also, when this testing is used to calibrate things in the levels of consciousness (the actual numbers in a scale, rather than just testing strong or weak) it is claimed to be uniform across all people, that would mean this is an objective measure of the collective unconscious. This is one of the objective parts of reality that I believe in. How would someone in SR explain this kind of objective system? | |

You should inspect the Ki... aiKIdo uses this kind of force and it is not connected with the object it self but with the force you can channel. There were numerous experiments with various poisons and viruses where by the power of thought the poison(cyanide) and virus(hepatitis) did not affect the experimenter because of his mind pattern, oh btw do not experiment this at home (^_^)
