Your point of view on so called "death" in fifty-one words or less?

Death, why are we fighting to live when we are living to die? Are we the heroes of our own lives? Or organism, who excretes. 5-7 minutes brain activity continue after death, that is if your head wasn't blown off with an ak-47.

The attenuation/deterioration of structure past the point of non-functionality for said structure. This would be in conjunction with what rei said concerning energy changing forms up top, but I think this is a bit more accurate as the energy of a structure can change without changing the overall structure.

"Death" is like coming home from work. It's a chance to rest for a while and spend some time with loved ones.
But then tomorrow (I don't mean just one day) you have to get back to work again. And it keeps on going like this until you gain your pension and then you can stay at home all day, do what you like and share your wisdom with the grandkids.

death is a label for energy changing forms. it only looks final from the material level. all consciousness goes to the same place as long as it doesn't get itself stuck to the earth plane. if it gets stuck, it needs help from someone like me to get where it needs to go.

Death happens. There is substantial evidence consciousness can exist outside of body and existence after death, but I wouldn't depend on it.

I wish I could do that. There is an 'earthbound spirit' in the building where I work. I sense it every time I walk up the stairs - certain floor - but that is where it ends for me. you would think there is always suffering involved, but there are some spirits who stick around because they like it here or because they want to be helpful. like, i know of a woman who works at a massage therapy place and there is a spirit there who, for example, has extinguished candles left burning overnight before. a healer tried to help it and it was like, 'no way, i like helping and being here!' (it was formerly the spirit's house.) but i would say, my sense is this is the exception, rather than the rule. many of them are aware of their situation, and there's also some that aren't. if the experience right before death was overwhelming enough the awareness may be in shock, replaying the previous life instead of understanding what has happened. i help in a more hands-on way for the ones that understand they died. for whatever reason, Source wants to be in charge of helping the ones that were in shock.

the vast majority of them are in pain and fear. they don't purposefully make things difficult for living people. yes, there's exceptions, but most of them aren't trying to make our own experience harder.

If physical death is defined as a shutdown of all sensory perception, we can assume that death is something none of us will ever experience.
Illness ,slowing down that LEADS to death,perhaps-- but the moment of death will not be part of our experience.
Why fear something we'll never experience?

Death is the end of an era, so another can begin. Something must always be destroyed before something else can be created. For the one experiencing it, death is hyper-evolution to a higher order of being.

An enlightened Zen master would say that what can die, is the idea of a somebody. But there is truly nobody, only life itself, Source, pure intelligence. But as an identified, troubled mind and body, I fear death all the time.
