Do you have any interesting stories about how your own prayers (or - possibly - those of a prayer circle) have influenced conditions or events in the lives of people you know?

Yes. I prayed that my father would stop criticizing me and comparing me to my brother all the time. I did it in a ritual context and he even called just after I'd finished the ritual, and instead of criticizing me, which was the norm, he had nothing but positive things to say...which has not been the case for a long while with my dad. He has also become alot more thoughtful and considerate towards me Wierd thing is ...now my mother is the one acting like a total narcisisst? She was always the nice one It's like they've swapped personalities, when they split up 3 years ago??

I also prayed that I would meet and make friends with happy people who were willing to communicate honestly and openly with me, and help to create a safe space to share feelings so we can both know where the other is at, which I think is important. This has happened since I found this site...so I'm pretty happy about that...it did take about 15 years though to manifest...but at least it's here now

Prayer works...but you don't have to believe in Jesus for it to!

Most definitely each time i have asked for something it has been granted. Whether it was for me or my relatives or my friends or my acquaintances.

So to me, yes praying is a powerful way to manifest/protect/help/being in touch with heavenly beings.

Remember the law of free will though, all you can do is sending the prayer. Whether the person wants to receive or not, that's up to them.

A few months ago i prayed the archangel Michael to protect my mother and not leave her side. She did the same after i suggested it. Well, he is always by her side. It is confirmed all different ways (angel cards, etc. And she had a reiki session and the lady told her "Archangel Michael was in the room with you the whole time and he filled the width of the room").

You can do different prayers, do what works best for you. I feel a good connection to angels, that is why i work with them, but if you prefer to pray to Source, Jesus, Buddha, Allah...all is good.

I love this question as someone prayed a specific prayer for me. When I was in college, she meet me. She prayed about the color of my hair, what I would be wearing and my age. She was right. She was well versed in the bible and taught me that if you are a student you should be educated on your major. Same as if you say you are a christian you should know your bible. She taught me about many scriptures until I read and studied on my own.Years later I imitated her and prayed to meet someone I could teach. I prayed specifics even to the first letter of her name to begin with the letter "N". I met someone two weeks later named Nancy. I taught her the basics and she went on to study for herself. We both graduated. She is now a teacher and married an engineer. We are very close friends. So I say pray very specific prayers. When they are manifested you are left in awe of God.
