Default What do you think the meaning of life is?

I was thinking it over yesterday and came up with something like, "to evolve, to express, to love, to be happy."

Of course the meaning of life is something you choose for yourself, but I think people who are like me would be likely to have similar meanings of life.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I think about this question as well. Originally, I came up with the idea that there's no inherent meaning to life. But then, I thought that perhaps there should be something more, and that would be the idea that the meaning of life is simply to live, whatever living entails, existing, sustaining, and evolving at the most basic level. That aside, I like what you've come up with.

Well maybe I could have put it, "What are the things we can do to make life feel meaningful?"

Question

Ok, up until Xmas this one puzzled me. It was the one question that kept bugging at me!

I used to love telling people the answer was the film monty pythons 'meaning to life'. as to sort of say -dont take it so serious- you know? And I thought that was as close as I was gonna get it, but still feeling it was one of the questions no-one can answer. as theres so many reasons/meanings etc, etc.

But on a Xmas present I bought for my Uncle & Aunt, (I ordered them a day pass to the 'tower of london'). And when the present arrived it came in a tin with the words

------LIFE IS AN EXPERIENCE-----

on the front, And it hit me! BANG! This truly is the meaning to life, a Universal meaning so to speak, having all the millions of meanings all rolled into 1 word! So the meaning to life is to 'experience'.

Its not good nor bad, but we all want it

Let me know if im on the money with this one

Rob,
I agree. To experience.

And to remember who we are and how to link up again with the Source.
