__________________________________ Part 1 of 4 posts that "hopefully" will reveal the secrets of time, space, the universe, and our ultimate destiny... We have recently received (within the last century) a new tool for visualizing objective reality. It’s called “the Big Bang theory.” Everyone has heard of it of course, however, by viewing some of its basic features and then cross-referencing it with the metaphysical idea that all reality is a manifestation of "consciousness," I think we can get a better picture of a higher truth. Always keep in mind that the Big Bang theory is a purely "materialistic" vision of reality and, like the separate religions of the world, is just one piece of the grand puzzle. The following is a thought experiment based on the “alleged” Big Bang scenario. The materialists (astrophysicists) describe the beginning of reality as an event that occurred approximately 13.7 billion years ago when everything of the universe was literally crushed into an infinitely dense, and infinitesimally small "point particle" that subsequently exploded to eventually form suns, planets, oceans, fish, birds, plants, puppies, kittens, humans, etc. (and from whence the “particle” came they haven't a clue). Let's imagine that beginning for a moment. At that initial fiery explosion, the very first thing to extend off the event would be light. An ever-expanding "bubble" of light would have extended in all directions away from the genesis point and would be moving into what can only be thought of as some kind of void or "nothingness" giving way to the expansion. Because light is the fastest moving aspect of physical reality, everything else of this explosion would be contained "within" the bubble of light. Indeed, nothing that we call "reality" (physical matter) can ever move past the boundary of the light bubble (refer to our smart uncle Albert on that subject). And where the expanding bubble of light has not yet reached into the "nothingness," should be thought of as the cut-off point of the universe itself, where nothing exists on the outside of the bubble. So according to this materialistic vision, everything that we call "reality" (including us) is contained "within" the bubble of light – a bubble whose film literally delineates the outer shape and boundary of the totality of the universe itself. Simply stated, as seen from the fundamental perspective of astrophysics, the universe is a closed "bubble" of reality, suspended in an infinite ocean of nothingness, all beginning from an infinitesimal genesis point. Now fast forward to the present. Here we are, sitting in front of our computer monitors on this incredible orb of reality, flying around a star in a state of physical order that staggers the mind, and all taking place “inside” the closed bubble of light. Now there are thousands of us in this forum situated all over the planet. With that in mind, pick a direction in space (any direction) and with your imagination, move through the roof of your home and off the surface of the orb, out past the planets of the solar system, past the field of stars comprising the Milky Way galaxy, further past the vast field of other galaxies forming the material contents of the universe, until reaching the aforementioned light barrier bubble that literally encases all reality as we know it. Now with one more little thrust of your imagination, move to the other side of the barrier... Continued in part 2 ... seeds Last edited by seeds; 11-03-2009 at 01:52 PM. |

__________________________________ Part 2 of 4 posts. Please read the first post to make sense of this one... In this thought experiment, we (our minds) are now positioned on the "outside" of the bubble of light that encases the universe. And at this particular point, the universe may still seem rather immense. However, because we are moving at the speed of thought (not the slogging speed of light), all we have to do is move further out into the nothingness. Imagine moving far enough out into the void until reaching a point where you can look back and see the entire bubble of the universe in its totality. (Now some of the more clever of you might point out that if we can still see the universe then we are still in contact with its light barrier and haven’t moved away from it at all. However, keep in mind that this is a thought experiment and we are not literally viewing it with photon perceiving – "physical" eyes, but as a “proposition” based on the science of astrophysics, using pure mind and thought.) So there it is – the entire universe contained within a bubble of light that, from our new vantage point, is no larger than a beach ball, or a good sized watermelon. Just behold that vision in your mind – a holographic-like dimension of reality of a hundred billion galaxies of suns and planets existing in superlative order, all contained in an area that appears to be no larger than something you could hold in your "mental" hands. And furthermore, somewhere within that radiant bubble is your body, sitting at a computer on a tiny speck of an orb that has now taken on subatomic particle size. (How frightening or impressive is a nuclear explosion or super-nova of a sun from that perspective?) Now that is a vision of reality based on a logical deduction derived from the pure theoretical "physics" of materialism. Let us now transpose that vision into the realm of "metaphysics." __________________________________ Part 3 of 4 posts. Please read the first 2 posts to make sense of this one... In the metaphysical version of reality, "consciousness" is the foundation and containment medium of all reality. Nothing exists outside of the essence of consciousness. With that in mind, I believe that if that bubble of reality was to look back at us in this virtual "out of body – out of universe" experience, we would look just like it. We would be “closed” bubbles of light, filled with holographic-like structures of reality (mental images/dreams) not as advanced or ordered internally as the bubble we are looking at, but basically the same as it in structure, purpose, and potential. And furthermore, the ultimate all-encompassing barrier that encases the universe isn't really a light barrier at all. Remember, according to quantum theory, light waves do not "collapse" into something visible unless consciousness is "looking" at them. The proposed light barrier we are viewing in this thought experiment is actually an aspect of the overall illusion forming the structure of "physical" reality encased within the light itself. Light's limited speed (a speed that limits all electromagnetic activities involving matter) represents the "governing factor" of one of the 4 dimensions (time) required to make the universe look and feel logical to our senses as our minds move our bodies around within the 3-dimensional context of our "physical" selves. Light itself is part of the interpenetrating "oneness" of the holographic-like patterns of information encoded in the quantum based "program" that spells out the structure and dynamic workings of the vast illusion of "objective reality." Remember, whenever consciousness “looks” or “interacts” with the quantum waves of information, the waves “collapse” and "objects" appear in space in 3-dimensional forms. And just as each of any object’s 3 dimensions (height, width, and depth) are created from the quantum waveforms that delineate each dimension itself, likewise, the limited and fixed speed of light (also written into the quantum information) is what creates that 4th dimension called time. In this thought experiment, looking at the bubble of the universe from the outer perspective, your awareness, in a single glance, is observing distances that would take your body billions of years to traverse traveling at the "snails pace" of light speed. Indeed, from this outer perspective you can almost literally see what "time" is. Everything within the bubble of the universe would appear to be moving in extreme "slow motion" as a result of the fixed speed of electromagnetic phenomena causing the objects suspended in space to move almost imperceptibly slow relative to each other and to the whole. Which in turn causes our "unrestricted" minds (held within the matter) to experience the illusion of time based on the necessary intervals required to allow the objects in space to move about and present themselves to our "physical senses" in a logical appearing context and pace – a pace intentionally inscribed and encoded in the informational fabric of the quantum underpinning. Relativity, as set forth in Einstein's theories, is created by the (intentionally programmed) constancy of the speed of light, which always guarantees that no matter how fast we are moving through space, or how strong the gravitational field is we are standing in, the illusion of objective reality will always look and feel normal from the perspective of any consciousness (any observer) held within its bounds. The entire universe is a living, holographic-like illusion of unfathomably ordered "mind-stuff," purposely designed and "programmed" by a higher intelligence, with the direct intention of creating new and living "illusion designers" (new minds) just like itself. Our minds spring-forth into existence as a result of the sublime perfection seen in the construction of our holographic brains that are designed to summon-forth the "energy of life itself" (channeled through God's very being) to coalesce and "birth" into a new and unique individualization of self-aware, personal consciousness – a consciousness just like God. ("...It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." 1 John, 3:2.) God is not going to "appear" until we are born out of him; in the same way that our human mothers did not "appear" until we were born out of them. With the preceding in mind, to understand what the "true" boundary of the universe really is, all you have to do is close your eyes. And as you peer into the inner spatial dimension of your own personal mind, try to perceive its outer boundary. Of course, you will not see anything. However, in attempting to envision the outer boundary of your own mind, you will, by analogy, discover the truth of the boundary of the universe. Even though the universe (looking at it from the inside) appears to be open and endless, it is not. It is the closed mental system of God's personal consciousness that is bounded, not by light, but in the same way that our own minds are bounded – by reason of the limited field of the life energy that makes up the sum total of each individual mind itself. I am a separate mind, you are a separate mind, and God is a separate mind. And in all cases these invisible mental boundaries should be perceived as the dividing lines between separate minds. Or, in other words, the point where one individual consciousness ends and another one begins. You and I, or our minds, just happen to be held "within" God's mind at this moment. As I have stated many times before, we are the ultimate "embryos" (embryos of pure individualized consciousness) in the "cosmic womb" of the ultimate life form. __________________________________ Part 4 of 4 posts. Please read the first 3 posts to make sense of this one... As this thought experiment continues, when I look back at the bubble of the universe from the outside perspective, I like to picture the universe in the shape of the aforementioned "watermelon." Not a literal watermelon of course, just the metaphor of a fully developed “living” entity, delineated by a distinct and self-contained form, and filled with numerous seeds of itself. In this metaphorical vision, I see the universe as a radiant oval melon with the light barrier representing its outer "rind;" the inner space and galaxies representing the "pulp" of the melon, and guess what represents the watermelon seeds? If you think that your own head is too dumb to use as an example in this vision, then grab Einstein's head and place it in the direct center of the melon. Then realize that just like in a natural earth watermelon, all of the prerequisite steps required of this “cosmic watermelon” to reach full fruition have been met, and it is now able to produce the seeds of itself within itself. Encased within that seed-like corporeal "shell" of Einstein's skull and brain is the encapsulated potential (a hologram creating mind) of recreating that which he is a seed of (the grand holographic reality of the universe – God's mind). But we are talking about a process that will occur, not in a "season" like on earth, but within the infinite depths of the eternal life that Einstein and all of us have received as a gift from God. It is a gift given to us as a result of God reaching full mental and spiritual “fruition” of his being, thus allowing him (like any “natural” self-propagating life form) to replicate himself by conceiving his offspring "within" his wondrous "spirit body" (new minds “created in his image,” but in a temporary embryonic form). Also keep in mind that unlike a physical watermelon seed that must exit the pulp of the parent watermelon in order to sprout and blossom into a new watermelon itself, Einstein's skull, brain, and body literally cannot leave the inner dimension of the universe. Remember our quantum holographic lessons in the thread “Quantum Superposition.” Einstein's physical body (ashes in his case) is forever united to the interpenetrating oneness of quantum information that underpins all matter within the closed bubble of the universe (nothing “physical” can move past the light barrier – even the light itself is part of the information that cannot be disconnected from the "phase-entangled" oneness of the quantum). However, his mind and consciousness can and did exit the bubble (awakening into "full consciousness" of his mental essence). The body stays here, but the spirit, mind, soul, consciousness (whatever you want to call it) is literally born out of God – a genesis of a new universe that literally began as a "point particle" of individual consciousness back in his mother's physical womb. Now project the bubble of our universe (as seen from the outside) backwards in time to its beginning as viewed in the Big Bang, and behold a beginning paralleling our own. Not an incomprehensible crush of all matter into a point particle that exploded and then accidentally formed the order set before us, but in a tiny birth that surely must have arisen via the same processes that gave rise to us. However, I am speaking of a birth that originated in an entirely different (still living) universe that existed (still exists) prior to ours. That of course implies the probable existence of an exponentially multiplying, infinity of living universes arising through similar creative processes of consciousness, extending as far back as eternity itself. But that's okay isn't it? It just means that the totality of minds forming the “all that is” we so often mention in this forum, is represented by a number beyond comprehension. (There is only one problem that arises from this idea. Can you guess what that problem is? Anyone?) So the “nothingness” outside the bubble of the universe is not an empty void at all. It is absolutely teeming with our soon to be revealed incorporeal siblings of consciousness once we are born out of God through the event we call death. Furthermore, I believe that we will experience each other’s incorporeal presence in a way that will no longer involve “physical” light waves. In this thought experiment, the universe itself would vanish from sight if we had to rely on the propagation of physical light waves to reach our awareness. So whatever the mode is through-which we will experience each other’s ultimate forms, it will be totally unique relative to our present mode within the universe. It will no doubt be a process involving pure consciousness itself – pure mind-to-mind contact, uninhibited by the light-speed restricted corporeal facades of the “seed-like” shells of our present bodies. And finally, we are surely not going to look like bubbles or watermelons to each other. We are going to look like whatever it is that God and our other incorporeal siblings look like. We will be in a form that feels completely natural to us (even more natural than our present bodies). And above all, it will be a form that makes sense being able to last and perfect itself eternally. The uploaded picture below (a public domain pic from wiki) reveals the theoretical shape of the universe derived from microwave background radiation studies by NASA astronomers. I had been using the image of a watermelon as a metaphor to describe the universe many years before this image came out. I do not believe that these cosmic synchronicities correlating with this new philosophical vision of reality are here by chance. Use the image to visualize everything I just presented in these posts regarding its interior. Imagine all of the little “seeds” inside, not just on earth, but surely everywhere throughout the hundred billion galaxies forming the “pulp” on the other side of the “rind.” seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com Last edited by seeds; 11-03-2009 at 01:27 PM. |

Sounds cool. We are pretty sure that the edge of the Universe is space-time itself which is expanding faster than light. Where does the hologram idea come in or what does it do better than any other idea? It's hard to imagine being outside of time. People wouldn't look slow unless you were still inside of time, rather we would see every moment from the beginning to present. That would fit in a 4D shape. The future is a problem, if everything is predestined it could look like the past. Or the whole thing could be 5D which would allow for an infinite different variations all showing up just like the Many Worlds predicts. The general idea - there are lower consciousness evolving into higher beings and on and on but all are part of the same "All There Is" is always an inspiring idea. Jane Roberts and Seth use this same model. I like their variation where each "seed" is also connected to a higher entity outside of space-time. |

You asked: “Where does the hologram idea come in or what does it do better than any other idea?” The hologram idea plays an important role because it lets us compare the outer workings of the universe to the inner workings of our own minds, and we can see similarities. To understand the holographic nature of the universe, you need to picture the contents of the universe in the same way that you would picture the contents of a powerful dream within your mind. For example, imagine having an extremely vivid, recurring dream of a hike through a forested mountain range, or perhaps the Grand Canyon. Each time you fell asleep, you would experience the holographic-like, 3-dimensional separation of the individual flora and trees of the forest, or the vast panoramic vista of the great chasm of the canyon. I mention it as being "recurring" in order to establish the "fixed" nature of the information underpinning the dream itself. And keep in mind that just like in the "Big Bang" thought experiment in the opening posts where we leave our physical bodies back on earth then exit the bubble of the universe with our minds, likewise, in our dreams, we do not bring our physical bodies with us. They are lying in a darkened room, drooling on a pillow. In the dream of the Grand Canyon, there would be great detail and substantial distances between the phenomena occurring within your own consciousness. However, when you awaken from the dream, where exactly are those vast panoramic vistas now in relationship to your tiny head? Obviously, it was all just an illusion occurring between the eye of your mind and the holographic-like field of information forming the structure of the dream itself. Now let’s take that vivid dream of the Grand Canyon a little further (another thought experiment) and picture there being other humans within the dream; “tourists” standing on an outcrop overlooking the canyon. Imagine that these humans, formed from the holographic-like essence of your own mind, are literally alive and “self aware,” with each possessing an aspect of "free will" that allows them to move their "dream bodies" around within the dream itself. In essence, they are “corporeal” life forms held within the fabric of your personal mind. You, yourself, being the creator of the dream (or at least the mind in which the dream transpires), will awaken from the dream each morning (move outside of it) by extracting your awareness from the features of the dream and projecting it (your awareness) back into your body and out into the universe. However, imagine that the minds of the self-aware “tourists,” still held within the informational field composing their dream bodies, are still aware of the details of the dream, and can still interact with it. Indeed, the next time you enter the dream, you discover that the tourists have moved down to the bottom of the canyon. To you, when you are awake and your awareness is no longer observing the dream, the illusion of the canyon reverts back to a field of seamless holographic-like information in your mind with no separation or reality to it. On the other hand, to the "tourists," it would still be revealing itself in full splendor because the informational waves forming the holographic details of the dream, still exist in the fabric of your mind whether you are observing it or not, and the "tourists" can still collapse the waves into the illusion of reality because they are still observing its phenomena. The universe operates under those same holographic-like principles. As you look at the melon shaped bubble of the universe presented above, don’t think of it as being in this literal form as imagined by the materialists, with all of its contents existing as fully explicated, 3-dimensional “objects.” Think of it as a "dream" in exquisite perfection and order, founded upon a field of pure holographic-like information that “unfolds” into objective forms whenever the awareness of consciousness (any consciousness) held within the dream, “shines” into the quantum and collapses the waves. And just as the “recurring” dream of the Grand Canyon in your mind has continuity and a fixed structure each time you enter into it, likewise, the “dream” of the universe has continuity and a fixed structure existing in a magnitude of order that defies our understanding – all of which is transpiring within the mind of a higher (incorporeal) consciousness. We are the “tourists” inside the spectacular “dream” of a fully developed incorporeal Being. And the illusion of detail and vast distances of separation we experience within the universe is the same illusion of detail and separation that the “tourists” within our own minds experience as they traverse the holographic vistas of the dream of the Grand Canyon. And one of the most interesting implications of all is that both illusions (the universe, and the dream of the Grand Canyon) basically take up hardly any space at all down in the "oneness" of their informational levels. Space/time itself is merely a by-product of the conjunction between consciousness and the essence through-which consciousness expresses itself. (Now of course the universe is not a “dream” in the literal sense. I am merely pointing out the parallels between our minds and the mind of God, and where the "idea" of the hologram comes in.) Thank you again joelr, I will address the second part of your comment in my next post. seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com Last edited by seeds; 11-07-2009 at 04:25 PM.

As you say seeds, "The Big Bang theory is purely 'materialistic' and proposes that everything of the universe was literally crushed into a very small and very dense space that exploded into suns, planets, etc. I think the key element here is, "everything of the universe." The 'everything' is the material which is contained within the unmaterial universe. The universe is infinite - unlimited, but the material is limited. It is impossible for the mind to conceive of anything that is unlimited so the thinking mind must come up with something to explain that which is unexplainable. I'm not begrudging your idea or trying to argue with your point of view, but am simply pointing in a different direction or, you might say, adding another point of view. Why couldn't it be that when the Big Bang occurred, the infinite universe was already in existence and the very dense material, including light, simply expanded out into the universe? The light and the material are not the universe, but are part of the universe. The universe is not a bubble, has no edges, has no beginning and has no ending because it has always been infinite. |

As you look at the "melon" shaped bubble of the universe from the “outside” as seen in my Big Bang thought experiment, realize that in this “virtual” context, you are, indeed, outside of time, at least outside of the space/time occurring within the bubble itself. Remember, in the thought experiment we are moving at the speed of thought, not light. This means that with your imagination, you can access any point on the outer “rind” of the “melon,” instantly. (Note: the words "melon" and "bubble" in referring to the universe are synonymous.) However, the conditions for the inhabitants on the inside of the “melon” are another story altogether. The clockwork-like mechanistic movements of planets around stars, all governed by the speed of light, means that the earth would be moving imperceptibly slow relative to you. Or better yet, the speed of light would be imperceptibly slow relative to your "new" speed. To envision that, imagine the Milky Way galaxy existing inside the far left end of the “melon.” If a rocket left the surface of the earth traveling at the speed of light heading toward the other end of the melon, in the time it would take the earth to move around the sun one revolution, the ship would have traveled only one light year of distance. And seeing how it is billions of light years of distance from one end of the universe to the other, the earth would move around the sun billions of times before the rocket would reach the right side of the interior of the melon. So obviously, from your new perspective “outside” of the melon, it would appear as if the rocket were barely moving at all. So in viewing the bubble of the universe from the outside, you are observing a gigantic “self contained” mechanism consisting of trillions of clock-like moving phenomena (stars and planets) all producing an illusion of reality that makes total sense to the inhabitants inside the bubble. However, to you, from the "outer perspective" (from the realm of pure thought and mind), it would be as if all activities taking place inside the bubble were set within a thick magnetic field that inhibited all movement within. Or, perhaps not so much inhibited by a "magnetic" field, but by the very parameters written right into the informational "program" of the quantum underpinning that literally sets the pace and conditions of objective reality. And a crucial aspect of that programming states: "thou shalt not move thy body faster than the speed of light." The minds held within physical bodies inside the bubble of the universe (meaning us) are completely at the mercy of the laws of physics written into the "software" of the holographic-like, quantum underpinning. And the illusion of time experienced by us earthlings looking at the "real" Grand canyon, is the same illusion of time that the “tourists” held within bodies in your "dream" of the Grand Canyon experience as they move themselves around within the context of the canyon in your mind (see my prior post #6). Of course they would not be measuring time based on the unfathomably precise mechanism of a planet moving around a star. But they would experience a semblance of time in the shear mechanistic “one after the other” pace of footsteps “ticking off” the time based intervals required to move their dream bodies from the “outcrop” down into the gorge of the canyon. While you, on the other hand (the eye of your mind), exist outside of the space/time parameters that govern their movements, and can move "instantaneously" relative to them. And that is the same relationship that God has to us and the bubble of this universe. The huge proportions and vast distances of separation within the universe is the same illusion of proportion and separation that occurs within our own minds during a dream, which means that size, distance, and "time" are purely relative. And for an example of what I mean by "relative," realize that the dream of the Grand Canyon taking place within your mind could actually be the same size as the real Grand Canyon in God's mind. But you see, never the twain shall meet. At no time will they ever be superimposed upon each other for comparison. That is the essence of relativity. They exist in two separate dimensions of "subjective" reality (two separate bubbles). Remember, there is no 3-dimensional form, separation, or distance between anything at the informational levels forming the contents of the universe or the contents of your mind. So the holographic-like, quantum informational parameters regarding the size of the 2 canyons, or any other aspect (look, feel, sound, smell, taste, movement, "time"), only have meaning to the consciousness, or consciousnesses (plural, as in the case of the universe) held "within" the context of any particular bubble itself. So don't be overwhelmed by the vastness of the universe. For you see, from a certain perspective, our minds are the same size as the universe. Where we diverge from God is in the realm of order taking place within our minds. seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com

I understand what you are saying and I respect your point of view. However, in this situation, I think we are merely debating the meaning of the word "universe" and what that word applies to. I, and astrophysicists, see the word "universe" as applying to this melon shaped entity presented below. It has a oneness and a boundary to it that is definitely, as you say, "limited." And from what I infer from your statement, you see the word "universe" as applying to the unlimited, infinite "openness" in which this particular bubble is expanding. And you are absolutely correct in saying that there is no boundary to that. But to me, what you call "universe" is actually the "infinite arena" in which an "infinity" of individual universes expand and mature. Furthermore, I do not envision these universes as beginning in a violent crush and explosion of a dense "point particle" of matter, but rather in a gentle and natural birth of a new bubble of consciousness, "conceived within" then "born out" of an old bubble. What I am talking about here are ancient minds creating new minds via the deft arrangement of mental holography into suns, planets, DNA, bodies, and finally "brains" that by their very construction, summon-forth the essence of life itself to form an entirely new self-aware bubble of consciousness. Spacedout, as crazy as this may sound, when you got slapped on the butt at birth, a light went on in your very own universe. Just do the math. Our minds are closed bubbles of subjective reality, inside of which we can create absolutely anything out of the holographic-like essence within. And even though at this moment the holography we create within our minds seems vague and illusory, it is not going to be that way when we awaken into full consciousness of it through death. You get a preview of your ultimate potential every time you fall asleep and dream (you lucid dreamers out there should easily understand this concept). Think of what happens when you fall asleep and dream. The energy of your awareness withdraws from the matter of your body and is re-directed inward toward the essence of your mind. And what once appeared as illusory wisps of light-like imagery, now appears as seemingly solid manifestations of reality with great depth and dimension. Lucid dreamers are able to consciously manipulate what they are seeing. And what are they seeing? – huge panoramic vistas of reality (like the Grand Canyon) that seem almost as real as earth vistas. And what do physicists say about the vistas of reality composing the universe? They say that matter is filled with so much empty space that there is almost nothing to it – "phantasms" held together by electromagnetic forces, all springing into existence because consciousness is looking at it. Just take lucid dreaming one step further and imagine a complete withdrawing of your consciousness from your body through death. Imagine that instead of a lucid dream, you now possess absolute awareness and control of the interior of your mind. Now just project that potentiality of your mind into eternity. Then realize that as you look at the bubble of this universe from the outside perspective, what you are witnessing is a sample of how far that potential can be taken by a single mind just like you. The "melon" shaped entity we are viewing in this thought experiment is not the product of an infinity of souls forming some kind of "amalgamated source" all chipping in to create just this one reality as some have suggested. And it is not a product of "chance" accidentally creating mind blowing order like the materialists suggest. It is the natural progression of an individual mind reaching full maturity and control of its mental essence as it lives eternally. All taking place in what spacedout calls the "universe," but what I call the "infinite openness" that will forever give way to the births of more and more living bubbles of consciousness (universes) forming the "all that is." (If you will excuse me, I am now going to attend a meeting of the L.P.A. (Long Posters Anonymous) to try and get some help. seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com

Dear Seeds, I'm not doubting your sincerity nor your ability to imagine the universe; what I am asking is do you have any other supporting evidence for your theory other than your imagination and belief? I don't know of any evidence that supports the idea that there are mulitple universes. If there is I would like to know about it. I was a scientists and taught biology for thirty years so I don't have all the "facts" on astronomy or quantum physics, but I find the subjects fascinating. You speak about holographic imaging in the mind and a natural progression of the mind reacing full maturity. I think I understand where you are coming from on these topics because I can sure visualize three dimensional objects and I have reached pure awareness a time or two but I'm not sure that the ability to do so could support the hypothesis for multiple universes. Maybe I'm not reading between the lines of your thesis correctly. Could it be that you are saying the universe exists within each person't mind? If so, then I understand that. |

I think you made the same error as many people who try to believe in subjective reality, while they cannot accept that in reality, there are no others. There is no "we", there is only "I". Here's a thought experiment to illustrate this: I close my eyes and think everything away (including my own body). Is everything gone? No, my "I" (the entity that performs this experiment) is still there. This is the only "thing" that I cannot let disappear. There is no "we", there is only "I". Don't try to find an explanation for the existence of other minds, find an explanation for this "I".

@ kedzer: Those interpretations of the findings from quantum mechanics are just as good as any of the other interpretations from a mathematical standpoint, so it's not like the evidence specifically points to any one of them even though they are all technically supported by it.

spacedout, There is no empirical, or scientifically verifiable "evidence" of the existence of other universes. And the reason why is because science can no more verify the existence of other universes than it can verify the existence of our own minds. So asking for evidence that supports the idea that there are multiple universes is like asking for evidence that your mind exists. And you know what a philosophical problem that is. Just as science cannot reach into your brain with a measuring device to verify the existence and contents of your personal consciousness – a phenomenon filled with dreams and mental images unique to your mind alone, neither can it reach out beyond the boundary of this universe and verify the existence and contents of other personal minds forming the "other" universes. And that is what I am proclaiming the other universes to be – living incorporeal "minds" in varying stages of development and order, some as old as eternity itself. And just like your own mind, the other universes are inaccessible and transcend any "material" means of confirming their existence. "Measuring devices" are fine when it comes to dealing with the same essence that the devices themselves are made of (physical matter), but they cannot measure and confirm the existence consciousness. They can only be used as "evidence" that consciousness exists. The metaphysical realms we are exploring here can only be approached through the power of imagination itself, not through a blip on a detector, or a mathematical formula. Imagination is the only thing that can extricate itself from the bounds of matter to view matter from a higher perspective. In so doing, imagination can then discover that matter itself is nothing more than a product of consciousness creating reality to suit its needs. Quote:
Now just imagine possessing that same ability after death. However, what I am saying is that instead of the holography being illusory or phantom-like as it appears to us now, it will appear to your mind's eye as thoroughly whole and fully resolved – in other words "real" (way beyond what you see in your dream state). However, at that stage, you will possess absolute control of every micro and macro aspect of your holography, allowing you to create absolutely anything within the closed bubble of your own personal consciousness. And if what I am proposing is true, not only will you be able to create reality, but you will also be able to lay it out in its own "space/time" relationship to itself that can make the objects you create appear "light years" away from one another as seen in the bubble below… …but to you, they are instantly accessible. (Remember, it's your mind and you can travel anywhere within it, instantly, at the speed of thought.) Now just project that proposed potentiality of just your single mind alone into eternity, and the "hypothesis for multiple universes" should become more plausible to you. Don't envision universes as being some kind of "material" manifestations that mysteriously come into being out of nowhere for no apparent reason. Instead see them as the highest level that life and mind can aspire to – minds like ours that have reached full maturity, with each one capable of replicating itself through the incomprehensible order of its own mental holography. The image presented below is merely an abstract representation of an ancient living mind with holography so advanced (suns and planets) that it appears to us as natural occurring phenomena. And peering into the interior of this oval shaped image, on just one tiny speck of the holography there are approximately six billion new universes existing "inutero." God only knows how many more of his “seeds” are spread throughout the other hundred billion galaxies forming the “pulp” of this melon metaphor. Quote:
But always remember, and this is one of the primary keys to understanding the feasibility of this concept: that you literally have forever in which to do it. 13.7 billion years, fine! 13.7 trillion years, again, no problem! There is no pressure, no time table, no deadline. How ever long it takes is how ever long it takes! That’s what the gift of eternal life as a child and sibling of the Creator of this universe is all about. Furthermore, don’t think of it as being some inconceivable task or job that we must accomplish sometime in eternity. Think of it as being the only reason in all reality for possessing eternal life in the first place. If we are to live forever (a hope and belief held by many) then we simply must have something logical to do to occupy our time. And the creation and maintenance of a universe is the only thing that can even remotely fill the void of infinite time. It will be the ultimate glorious expression of our own inward creative potential that will eventually culminate in the ability to eternally pass on life to others in the same way that we received it. seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com

Frans, I see a little problem in your thought experiment... In your "thinking everything away – including your body," unless you've managed to step in front of a speeding Mack truck while – "thinking your body away" – you have merely hidden from your body within the "subjective realm" of your own mind. You do not possess the power over the essence that forms your body in any such way that would allow you to literally "think it away." Because eventually, the following will occur... Body: "Hey Frans, I need to go to the bathroom!" Frans: "Not now, I've thought you away." Body: "Oh yeah, well see if you can think away the unfortunate underwear you're about to be wearing!" Frans: "Alright already." Body: "And make me a sandwich, I'm hungry!" Joking aside, your body is inextricably united to the interpenetrating "oneness" of the holographic-like informational field that forms the underpinning of the hundred billion galaxies within the bubble below. And you can no more "think your body away" than you can "think" the sun into changing its position in space, or the earth into changing its rotational speed, etc., etc.. The "I" of which you speak (the "I" forming the core of your personal bubble of consciousness) has absolutely no "direct" connection to the quantum essence forming the holography of your body or anything else in the universe. It only has a direct connection to the holography forming the interior of your own mind. So you can "think away" things in your own mind to your heart's content until arriving at that "I" within. However everything else residing on the exterior of your bubble of consciousness continues on, thank you, with or without your participation. The fundamental error that the hard-core subjective reality believers make is in thinking that the six billion little "i"s flying around on that tiny speck of holography within the bubble above, had something to do with the creation of that bubble. And that is the bane of their philosophy. And the idea that all of our little "i"s somehow merge together to form one big amalgamated "I" that creates just this one bubble alone... ...is the biggest error of them all – an error that I believe Frans is making in thinking there is no "we". seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com Last edited by seeds; 11-29-2009 at 12:23 PM.

spacedout, That’s almost exactly what I see. However, what you call "one infinite universe," I and others call the "all that is." I also like the phrase: "true reality." It's all just a matter of semantics as far as I can determine. And as you can see, looking at the image below… …the “universe” in this thought experiment is not “infinite.” To visualize that, realize that if one grain of sand was the equivalent of one billion light-years of distance, the entire size of this particular universe would be represented by about twenty grains of sand. For a glimpse of “infinity,” imagine starting from the outer edge of the universe and laying the sand grains (each a billion light-years of distance) one after the other heading non-stop in all directions away from the universe. Do that until you have depleted all the sand grains of the entire planet. And still, that is nothing to infinity. That’s the infinity I see when visualizing the openness that exists beyond our material universe. You can also do the same thing regarding the age of this universe. Just imagine that each grain of sand is the equivalent of one billion earth years. The age of the universe would then be represented by, again, around 20 grains of sand (I am rounding up). I feel that the preceding is an extremely important visualization tool that allows us to see how this one universe compares to both – infinity (a measure of distance) and to eternity (a measure of time – past and future). Because it poses this universe in the metaphorical terms of being no more than 20 grains of sand big (by) 20 grains of sand old compared to all the sand in reality. Such a vision allows us to wrap our minds around the universe rather than being overwhelmed by its size and age from the perspective of our bodies held within it. Quote:
I picture consciousness energy as being the "living emulsion" in which reality is suspended and transpires. Remember (at least according to this concept), reality is nothing more than mental holography in varying degrees of order and resolution. And just as an apple image is suspended in the living emulsion of your personal consciousness, likewise, the earth is suspended in the living emulsion of God’s personal consciousness – with God’s consciousness representing just this one universe… …amidst an infinity of others. (Remember, we cannot see or detect the other universes from our present perspective within this one; no more than we could see or detect other humans from our prior perspective within our mother's womb.) Quote:
The "all that is" is absolutely, as you say, "a living organism." But I see this living organism as being partitioned into an unthinkable number of individual minds, all connected as one entity through the sameness of the life energy from which we are all formed. The "all that is" is a unified “mindfield” as you stated above, beyond which nothing exists other than the infinite openness into which the mindfield expands. So ultimately (again, using your word) the “mindfield” itself is the only thing that exists. Furthermore, there are two (and only two) primary forms of being comprising the mindfield. You are either a spirit consciousness (an incorporeal mind) who is fully awakened and capable of creating reality within yourself like the Creator of our universe has done as witnessed in the bubble below… …Or, you are a corporeal consciousness held within the reality that a spirit consciousness has created. There are no “in-between” or “alternative states of being” besides those two, other than sheer non-existence. That means that in “true reality” there are no devils, no demons, no angels, etc., and no lower unincarnate entities below that of the human level of consciousness. Those are all “fantasy entities” derived from the "old paradigm" religions, and it is time to let them go. The human level of consciousness (or above) is the prerequisite "threshold" that must be crossed before consciousness can maintain its integrity and awaken into incorporeality. And what that ultimately means is that, again, in “true reality” there are no incorporeal dog minds, cat minds, monkey minds, fish minds, pig minds, amoeba minds, bug minds, plant minds, frog minds, bird minds, etc., etc., etc.. Spacedout, I guess the point I am leading to is that we must not stop at just the "pure awareness" of the infinite "mindfield." We must, through the power of imagination and "logic," begin to envision the purpose of it all. And to me the simple realization that humans are individual minds with the unique capability of “intentionally” creating objects of reality within our own personal consciousness – objects whose essence seems to resemble the essence forming the objects of the universe in which we were born – is a major clue (among others) pointing to our ultimate purpose. And if we can envision the potentiality of our own minds as being something that can “possibly” develop into a replication of what the image below represents... ...it is not a difficult leap to imagine that this process has been going on as far back as eternity itself, with us and our Creator merely being the most recent "generations" of a like-begetting-like “species” of Being, operating at the "highest level" that life itself can achieve. All of which would imply the exponentially growing existence of so many of our incorporeal siblings (living universes) that they are represented by a number that cannot be understood. Again, spacedout, as you stated, all comprising one interconnected and living organism, beyond which absolutely nothing else exists. Melchior, Allow me to quote myself from the thread, "Quantum Superposition"... "...like the particle/wave duality of a quantum entity being two complementary aspects of the same thing, the material/spiritual duality of reality itself is merely two complementary aspects of the same thing also. The point being, don't focus too heavily on either side lest you encounter a form of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle at the highest level itself." Melchior, you are a brilliant and eloquent expositor of your ideas on reality, and I enjoy reading your posts. However, in my opinion you lean way too far over into the materialistic side of the material/spiritual equation, almost to the exclusion of the spiritual (and obviously, I lean toward the spiritual, but with a healthy respect for both sides). And until you begin to "sense" the presence of life in a grain of sand, the magma of the earth's core, the moon, a useless meteorite drifting through space, on up to the blazing furnaces of the suns in full blown galaxy clusters, you will never understand what I, spacedout, and others in this forum are talking about. So please rephrase your line: "...living, perhaps, but not by our standards..." to read: "not by your standards." (And here's a winky dot seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com

But yeah, it's probably better to just say that I 'exclude' all things termed spiritual and leave it that way. At the same time however, those things that are termed as 'spiritual', from your point of view, exist in my reality as well. It's for the same reason I emphasized particle above (and got rid of 'wave', as you'll see in many physics texts). Quote:

Would you mind elaborating on your statement that you exclude all things termed spiritual, yet, at the same time, those things termed spiritual from my point of view, exist in your reality as well? It seems a little contradictory. By the way... Quote:

_____________________________________ I don't know if I'm just blathering to myself in this thread, but I am going to try to make it as rich and detailed as possible. And comments from you guys (positive or negative) are always welcome. A few posts back, joelr mentioned how hard it is to imagine being "outside of time," and how strange time might appear in the context of "4D" and "5D" circumstances. Playing off of joelr's comments, let me present the seeds' version of time travel into the past (or future) to see if it makes any sense. The notion of time travel into the past is based solely upon the fact that the physicists (materialists) believe that nothing exists above and beyond physical matter; that matter itself is the alpha and omega of "all that is," and that life and consciousness are merely a fortuitous by-product of the “accidental” arrangement of the vast order of the universe. Following from that, it is loosely believed that the quantum realm still contains all of the informational parameters that underpinned the construction of objective reality, at any given point in time, stretching all the way back to the "point particle" beginning. So if one could just locate and interpolate oneself within those parameters, one could re-experience the same conditions that the parameters represented. That would also include the very minds of the humans who inhabited the bodies of any bygone era. Keep in mind that in "pure" materialism, the lives of humans, or any other life form for that matter, only exist because of the arrangement of matter itself. So the mind of any human would merely be another parameter in the quantum, like the color of your hair or eyes, and would be inextricably linked to the physical matter that gave rise to its existence. So if one could re-experience the “matter waves” of the past, one would also experience the presence of the mind within those waves (as it was) at the point of interpolation of the time traveler. And therein lies the paradox that if you killed your great, great, grandfather as a child in that context, how would that affect the future of his progeny that followed, which included you, the time traveler. However, the point I am leading to is that the materialists are dead wrong in their assertion of the primacy of matter. Life and consciousness are not a by-product of matter. Matter – as seen in the arrangement of the universe – is a by-product of life and consciousness (God's consciousness). Without a doubt, the arrangement of matter within the universe gave rise to human consciousness. But it was not an accident. It was God cultivating the conditions within his "womb" to facilitate the manifestation of his offspring (us). The minds and souls of all humans in the past have long since been born into their ultimate form and exist as eternal beings in "true reality" – and true reality exists above and outside of the material parameters that form the bubble of God's universe – past, present, or future. So the mind of your great, great, grandfather is not inextricably linked to the matter waves that formed the body through-which his soul was conceived. It is true that the waves of information that formed his body still exist within the quantum matrix of God's mind in the form of the "afterbirth" still decomposing in a grave somewhere on the speck of a planet within the “bubble”... ...But his true, eternal self (his mind, soul, consciousness) has been born out of God’s bubble of consciousness. And that means that absolutely nothing anyone can do back "within" the interior of the bubble, can reach out and affect him on the outside of the bubble. Looking at the universe from the outer perspective, realize that nobody can go back in time. There is no past in the holographic underpinning of the universe (and definitely no future yet). There is just a field of quantum information that, in the case of your great, great, granddad, once served as the substructure for the higher purpose of conceiving his soul, but now exists in the eternal state of the "present" of God's personal being. The idea that future humans could play around in the crests and troughs of the matter waves in the quantum realm of the universe and truly interact with the actual minds that existed in earth's past is “almost” the equivalent of someone probing around in the information inscribed on a theatrical DVD, hoping to find the actual actors who romped around on the set of the movie encoded on the disk. Furthermore, thinking that you could go back in time and destroy the earth that existed a million years ago and thus preempt the births of billions of humans, is tantamount to destroying a glob of placental afterbirth in the delivery room, thinking that it will affect the baby out in its mother's arms. The deed is done! The children in true reality are inaccessible and unassailable from anything occurring back inside the "womb" from which they were jettisoned. And what that ultimately means is that billions of fully awakened souls are not going to reinstall themselves back into the quantum waves of the bubble just because some quantum physicist, on an infinitesimal speck of a planet inside the bubble itself, probes around in the fabric of physical matter (God's advanced holography). And I do dare to say that not even God can change the conditions within the bubble of his mind in such a way that would affect his children already born into true reality. That's how safe and perfect true reality really is. The gift of life literally has "no quantum strings attached." seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com |

_________________________________ I know it is difficult, but to understand our ultimate and eternal state of being, we have to stop envisioning the afterlife as being some kind of glorified continuation of the same sort of prefabricated physical conditions we experience now. For you see, at the moment of death, our spirits are not going to enter into another “objective reality” as we now understand it. That means we are not going to find ourselves standing on another planet, or some ethereal plateau, in a situation where our minds will still be held within a physical body. The reality or "quantum fabric" of our present bodies is founded upon the existence of another living being (God). Such will not be the case once we are removed from the objective conditions of this universe. There is no ultimate objective reality awaiting us after death. Because what does the term “objective reality” mean when the planets and galaxies of the universe itself can be perceived as the “subjective” mental phenomena of God’s mind? In an alternate thread, the question "Does Heaven Exist?" was asked. My answer is yes – absolutely, heaven is real. However, we need to understand that heaven ("true reality") is not going to be a “physical place.” Heaven is going to be a state of mind. It is a condition, not only of our own awakening into “full consciousness,” but also our ultimate transformation into a "genderless, wholeness of being" as is God. So realize, once and for all, that heaven is not going to be a place of “pearly gates” or “bejeweled buildings” or “golden walkways.” Anyone with half a spiritual brain knows how empty and shallow jewels and gold really are. The conditions of heaven (our ultimate state of consciousness) are far more wondrous than any material metaphor can evoke. Furthermore, the greatest treasure and most spectacular “jewel” that God creates, has its inception right here on earth. Each and every day, right before our very eyes, we witness the crowning achievement of the full power and glory of heaven in the birth of a human baby. Encased within that temporary corporeal wrapper is a “pearl” of such infinite value and eternal creative potential, that the galaxies of the universe pale in comparison. It is time for us to understand what is truly valuable in heaven and on earth. In so doing, we can then come together (heaven and earth) in a oneness of mind and purpose. seeds http://www.theultimateseeds.com Last edited by seeds; 12-19-2009 at 03:23 PM. |
