and also, that the secret will premiere in a theatre in nyc in March. interesting!

I really liked it but it was a bit redundant...45 minutes would have been perfect

While it may have been redundant - I still loved it all. Some people say the works of Abraham-Hicks is redundant. But the more I hear it the more I get it and the better I get at beoming a Deliberate Creator.

I think it's great that shows like Oprah, Ellen, and Larry King are sharing concepts from The Secret with the masses. Ellen had John Assaraf and Bob Proctor on her show on December 1st. Larry King has the transcripts from his two shows at cnn.com. And now Oprah will be doing her show on February 8th.

It will likely be the first time that some people have ever heard of the concept that our thoughts create our reality. If more people become aware of this, the consciousness of the world can only get more positive.

The part of The Secret where they talk about becoming pro-peace, for example, instead of anti-war. Or even talking about wellness vs 'the war on cancer' is a huge shift. As it allows people to focus on what they want vs what they don't want.

It will be interesting to see what happens as a result.

It's mid-show right now and they're showing a lot of insight into the topic. They helped the girl in debt with much more finesse than I could have. Everyone needs more work and growth but these people are doing very well in teaching these lessons.

James' 3 for 3 is a huge part of it too.

Just finished watching Oprah. They said that you should send out your intention once. That's it. If you send it out more, then it means you don't have faith, which negates the intention. I get the impression from this this website, though, that you should send out your intention every day. What to do.

They also talked a lot about gratitude and forgiveness. Very important.

It was a good show. Insightful and inspiring.

I think it means:

Ask for what you want once

Then act as if you're receiving it or have it from then on.

Don't keep asking for the same thing. Ask for it, then go work with the universe to obtain it!

I think if you asked three times over three days because you got it in your head that you should ask daily, then it is NOT negated because you never sent out any energy of doubt. You were simply following what you thought was a necessary ritual.

However, if you asked again because you weren't sure you said it right, or because you felt perhaps the message didn't get through somehow, then that does imply there may be some doubt involved and the negation of the original intent becomes a possible outcome.

But it is a VERY difficult thing to accept that these seemingly magical things can transpire with so little effort on our part. We have been conditioned to accept a very different kind of reality here in SpaceTime, and that is not so easily discarded by we so-called "Smart People." It takes lots of practice, courage, and faith to get The Secret to work for you every time without fail. People should not think of it as just that gigantic genie in the bottle where our every wish is his command and that's all there is to it.

We must truly believe and trust in the genie, even though we will never see him; only his works. We cannot micro-manage the genie. We cannot second-guess the genie. And we can never, ever sabotage the genie. This means that you can't use The Secret to get into Harvard next year when you're only twelve with average grades. And you met the Dean and called her horrible names. And you never even filled out an application.

In other words, you must WORK WITH the genie to put yourself in a position where what you're asking falls reasonably within the boundaries of the logical and possible.

I can ask the Universe to award me the Pulitzer Prize in Literature within a year when I've never written anything more substantial than a sixth-grade essay that wound up with a B-minus and a week-long posting on the side of the family fridge. This seems ridiculous, but an unexpected opportunity to help co-author a book for a friend could manifest because I do have unique knowledge of the subject matter of the friend's topic. I have to look for every hint of an opportunity to make the magic happen, regardless of how far-fetched the "wish" may seem.

Of course, it's hard to imagine asking for such things when I have no desire to win a Pulitzer Prize. But this is an example to show how when you work with your genie, even the seemingly ridiculous requests become possible.
