Default Stop Past tense Usage, Stop Time

We reinforce time in our consciousness when we speak with past tense, but when we stop using past tense verbs and references the time consciousness we experience now will fade away, and then we realise that we are eternal beings, because our death exists in the future, but when there is no time there is no future and therefore there is no death. Time exists only when we speak of it; death exists in time; therefore when we stop time we stop death and live eternally.

The truth does not make us believe, the truth makes us think, belief is the outcome of thinking.

hello all, bless all

What you write makes sense.

However, it is not very practical to not speak in the past and future tense in normal conversation. However, we can certainly throw in some present tense while we are at it

The following will probably not prevent death , but raise your presence:

When you really can't help telling a story, instead of focusing on the story, focus on how you are feeling NOW when you remember it. And if you want to go a step further, not only focus on how you feel, but what need / universal life quality it is about. Then move from the "not-having" of the quality to what that quality means to you. That way, a sad story can turn into a true connection place with one of your deepest values (love, growth, community, mutuality, support, play, rest...) and you move from blaming yourself or others to connecting with something you love.

Try it out! (best start practicing with smaller stories)

Past does not exist; so it is an illusion to speak of something that does not exists.

Words we speak with are our acknowlagment of their existance.

Do the right thing and everything will work out fine.
We can always do the best we can do, and leave the rest on God.

There is no future, the future is NOW.

These words are so true. You can't spend your life worrying about what will happen, or dwelling on something bad that happened in the past. The past is over, the future hasn't happened yet. Instead, concentrate on the NOW and changes you make NOW will affect your life down the road and sculpt who you are.

I respectfully disagree. I'm not convinced that thinking is linked to truth (or Truth) on a causal level.

The challenge is in 'makes us'

There are more tricks of language than the illusion of the past.

I find that the illusion of time arises before language. We can perceive it without words. (which doesn't make it any less illusory)

I think therefore I am, I am realising the truth, the truth without which we make mistakes and go wrong directions.
Realised truth is the one that transforms us and makes us reach our potencial.
Inherited truth is the illusion that tries to make us live in suspens and prevent change and progress.
Read as little as possible and think as much as possible.

Some say the past is behind us, but if we look behind us we see a wall, a bookshelf etc. Do we see the past? of course not. it is an illusion. it is a mystery, a mind boggling mystery.

Default past/future tenses and Freedom

very intereting note

for those of you who have studied the Vietnamese or Chinese Languages, you are well aware that both past/future Tenses are, more often than not, OPTIONAL in daily intercourse, depending on the CURRENT context, so clear enough -

... which in my experience definitely accounts for Asian people being so much more in touch with the TAO (Eternal All-encompassing Flux of NOW) than us Westerners so enmeshed in intricate (binding) flowery structural patterns

Pace e Salute
