What’s the final goal?

So we are born and start out are life learning how to be a giving person, and then we die. In death most of us forget everything about earth and any past existence. Then we come back to earth as a new person to learn a new skill. Maybe how to be more loving. All the while, we remember nothing about being in heaven the last time around. Then we die and repeat the process again and again, and again. If we are learning lessons here. Why cant’ I remember them. What good are they if I don’t retain this learning? And what is the final goal, and will we ever know when we get there?

We do remember what happened before but the memory is subconscious and the application of it is present in the form of instincts.
Most of it is not conscious. In fact many things which we witness are being recorded subconsciously in the psyche. Whatever we experience which is conscious now, will go into the subconscious through the passage of time., Once it enters into that, we lose conscious contact with it, but it affects us and becomes manifested as prejudices and predispositions.

Whoa there! Gotta stop you right there. What makes you think we forget about earth and any past existence at death? From what I've learned, we remember our previous incarnations even more vividly in death.

You do retain the learning. You never forget anything. You have amnesia while on earth, its true. There are many reasons for that amnesia. Some of them include:

• Homesickness.
• So you will approach problems in this life from a new direction.
• To prevent the desire to avenge past wrongs.
• To prevent identity confusion.
• Holding the spiritual vibration of your knowledge base before could actually blow the delicate circuitry of your physical brain, causing cessation of life in that form.
• Many souls come to earth for the "human experience", which is the very amnesia we are discussing right now.
• It wouldn't be a test if you knew the answers.

The learning that you acquire during incarnation benefits your ENTIRE self, not just the earthly ego you have come to identify as your personality. It is but a small facet of your entire soul essence.

The purpose of spiritual evolution is growth, plain and simple. Not for the knowledge -- you already know everything that is possible to know. But the experience of growth is sublime from the spiritual perspective. You couldn't experience the ecstasy of expansion into infinity if you remained with the knowledge that you were already infinite. Therefore, the illusion of ignorance is created so you experience growing from not knowing to all knowing.

And when you realize total enlightenment, guess what you will do?

The same thing over again.

Why cant’ I remember them. What good are they if I don’t retain this learning?

You can remember.. what you've never heard of those many millions/thousands whatever.. that recall past life experiences?? if you want to remember go ahead.. most of us tap into that information a lot..

It is my understanding approaching 4th density as we are.. we will be able to tap other lives/information more easily..

And what is the final goal, and will we ever know when we get there?

The goal of this limitation experience is to choose to follow your theme or to choose not too.. and go anywhere in between.. the goal of our soul is exploration of ourselves.. least that's what I think
