Was the individual awareness created before body,or awareness/source created/manifested body and identified itself with the body and this created individual awareness?Or...?

Both. The possibilities are infinite.

In some cases, the multidimensional collective consciousness types became curious about these "things" we call bodies, and filtered their consciousness through them to experience being clothed in a pulsating jacket of life (their awareness didn't stop at conscious awareness -- they could feel ALL the life of the cells in the human body). Beings of this type would incarnate in flocks/herds/whatever, until they got too engrossed in material forms and lost multidimensional awareness altogether, and individualized, taking on the characteristics of, for example, the current anthropoid hominid. In effect, splintering off from the "we", and becoming a "me".

In other cases, the souls were simply organized with egos to begin with, and given incarnations such as we find ourselves in, because they are natural to them, and their particular experiential needs.

There are literally an infinity of different consciousness configurations, some I'm sure we don't even have the proper mental building blocks to even properly conceive of.

Assuming that you were speaking of the material body, the individual awareness was there before that and it served as the psychic core around which the body was created by Nature.
But the secret is that the individual awareness was subjective at that time. It was subjective to itself and developed objectivity after the brain was somewhat developed in the uterus.

Notice that I did not say that the individual awareness was created but I said it was there. It was existing before the body was formulated.

The "sparks" of individuality existed before we had bodies. Read Kabbalah. It's really got some awesome explanations.

Yes, God created our soul, a part of which is our Individual mind. This mind then, starting with one cell, developed & grew its own physical body, prior to our birth.
