| The latest Time Magazine (January 29, 2007) is a special mind and body issue, and has lots of very interesting articles on the mind, consciousness, subjective reality, memory, brain evolution, time travel, "marketing to the mind", and how to choose the right wine. It's like they've infiltrated our conversations here! Anyone read any of these articles? What do you think? |

| Time, as we know it, is a human invention. It's always changing because as individuals, we're always changing. Why do you think so few humans choose to stand still? Time moves. Does this mean we're not meant to be stationary? Time shapes our perceptions, our priorities and our views of ourselves. Once we realize time is infinite, we will better understand why change is vital to time and why our limited views of human consciousness may just be 'the tip of the iceberg.' |

| I disagree... from a physics point of view, time is very real. it's as real as space, matter, light / energy. Did you guys know they're building a time machine and it should be ready by next year? No joke, no fraud. Ronald Mallet is the guy who's making it. There was a documentary on the discovery channel that showed what he's tryiing to do.

| Travelling through time (in more than one direction) is one of my dreams. Experiments to slow the speed of light have been successful. And so have experiments in quantum computing : Quantum computer solves problem, without running Regards, Eric Last edited by esn : 01-28-2007 at 02:19 PM. |

What is time other than the observable flux of reality? We've found very constant ways to measure that flux, down to the decay of atomic particles. But it's all the observation of change. If change ceases or if observation stops, is there still time? How would you know? Sounds like a koan to me.
