Awareness doesn't literally create something from nothing, as if it didn't exist before, but rather awareness brings into manifestation the physical from the non-physical. (Sound arises from silence. Form arises out of non-form. Thus, Source is often referred to as a formless silent stillness, or something to that effect.)

In quantum physics lingo, an observer collapses the wave function of possibilities, meaning that it turns multiple possibilities that exist purely in a state of potentials into a single manifest reality.

Looking at it from a LoA perspective, thoughts themselves are not mechanically creative. What's "creative" is that thoughts arise within awareness which brings that particular experience into physical reality. Because focused awareness vibrates energy from one frequency domain which is beyond the perception of our physical senses into the finite spectrum of physical experience, we experience the "creation" of "something" out of "nothing."

It's almost like looking at something slows down its vibration. Look at it enough and it takes form in physical reality. We use thoughts as an energetic template to model.

Thoughts can be stopped, at least temporarily.. which many of us here have probably experienced. Creation, however, does not stop and can not stop. It occurs eternally. The eternal part of you is conscious awareness, the part of you that can not be turned of for it is you.

Now the mechanics of exactly how awareness "manifests" physicality from the non-physical, that I don't quite know yet. All I know so far is that "it just works that way."

Awareness creates by manifesting the unmanifested, bringing formless to form. Ariel Bravy explains it nicely.

Thought do not create, hence using thoughts to manifest stuff doesn't quite work. Thought is itself creation of awareness.

To create through awareness is to be fully aware of the present moment. When you're fully aware you don't block manifestations. When you bring in mind and thoughts, you block manifestations. Just be fully attentive internally & externally without mind. Then you will begin to sense infinite manifestations.

You cant really choose to manifest something. Choice only comes from the mind which does not have manifesting powers. Mind can only prove what's been manifested

Well, even though thoughts themselves don't manifest, thoughts always arise within awareness, just like everything else in existence. Nothing exists outside of awareness. It all exists in a state of potential. (If a tree falls in a forest and there's no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound?)

Now, thoughts can be used as a sort of steering wheel to guide the direction of creation, sometimes called deliberate creation.

It's akin to saying that a steering wheel doesn't actually move a car, but because it's connected to an engine and all that jazz, turning the steering wheel leads to the turning of the car just as thoughts lead to a particular manifestation.

The question of choice and the source of thoughts is a whole 'nother topic entirely. Who thinks? Who chooses? Do thoughts arise on their own or is there actually a thinker who chooses what thoughts are thought? Again, that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

In a pure objective reality... yes You can say everything exists outside awareness.

In a pure subjective reality... no it doesn't. Awareness is what creates and nothing exists outside it.
