does something like that happen in Twilight - I haven't seen/read it...

To me it sounds a bit far fetched - but beliefs are very powerful and if they can get guys to fly planes into buildings i am sure they can get your eyes to change color

Beliefs certainly can make your eyes turn red!

Blood pumping differently into the vessels of your eyes, and tear ducts flowing at different rates, makes the white part of your eyes appear obviously different, so why wouldn't they also affect the appearance of the iris? It may be more subtle, but maybe not, especially for very light-eyed people. If you deliberately think thoughts that change your breathing and blood-flow, I think it's very possible to change the color others see in your eyes.

Likewise, changing your thoughts changes your physiology in other parts of your body, too, so it makes perfect sense to me that of course you can deliberately heal your body with deliberate thought. As Deepak Chopra said, "Our cells are constantly eavesdropping on our thoughts and being changed by them."

Yep, it does

In the movie, when they meet for the first time, post the class, by the lockers, his eyes turn golden brown. Very.
