How To Expect Miracles or Placebo Effect In Action

I just came across a video on your tune regarding placebo effect and how reality is really what we expect it to be which I new before but never able to consciously apply it to my advantage.

What do you think is a best way to apply this information so we can benefit from it, not the other way around. Maybe it is visualization or any other way.

well, u have to measure the actual physical response seperate from their reported response, and seperate from their actions. because if they think they are going to feel better they will claim they feel better, simply due to the brainwashing, and they will also try harder due to it as well. so if you only measure the stated response and action from a placebo you arent really testing a physical mind body connection. your just testing psychology.

but if you give someone a placebo pain killer and they physically have less pain in their body as seen by an objective test then you have found a real connected from mind to body.

but its obvious we already have some level of connection. think of a sad thing and you will feel sad in the body. think of some porno and you will feel horny in the body. etc... so we already know of some mind body connection. its just that placebo's are showing us that connection is also in some areas we never realized.

Isn't it basically what LoA peeps talk about? What you believe most strongly you will experience?

Pretty much. Although I think most wouldn't use the word "placebo" itself. It makes it sound too scientific, almost as if our lives were just experiments in some giant laboratory.
