Default Meditation 101

Hi guys,
I would like to ask you references on good material to start the practice of meditation.

About two months ago I started listening Dr. Wayne Dyer's "mediations for manifestations" and "getting in the gap", but I am losing my concentration easily lately when following the recording, and I haven't been able to form the habit (I do it inconsistently during the week).

Thanks,
Pat

Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now" was helpful to me..........

Also, a book called "Taming Your Grelim" by Rick Carson that is fun, playful and light hearted. I have found that if I take meditation too seriously I lose my motivation.

there is also a book called teach yourself to meditate and it has exercises you can do, and it explains meditation in simple terms.
