Default The Present

I really like living in the now. I really like paying full attention to the now, seeing what I see, hearing what I hear, feeling what I feel... I love it.

But, it's a struggle. I find myself always imaginating. About how good things can be in the future, how bad things were in the past. When I go out, I find myself thinking about how I look. If my hairstyle is nice, if I smell nice, if I dress nice. Sure thinking positively during a quiet moment helps confidence, but thats not being in the now. If we need to plan for the future, thats not being in the now. If we start thinking about our wants to manifest, thats not being in the now.

Simply, what is it to be in the present when in fact its obvious we need to at times think about the past and future?

Of course you can think of past and future, but the majority of your attention should be at the present, because you live in the present.

p.s. about visualisation. You need to think that you already have what you visualise for it to actually manifest. So that's in the now also.

Yeah, that's what I figured. We 're usually too focused on the past 'n future, but being in the now doesn't mean completely stopping the focus. I guess when its appropriate we can think the past 'n future. It's all about concious control I suppose.

also i didnt really understand how to visualize in the present moment. But now i understand that we must visualize the want as if we already have it, in order to be in the now. Before I'd wonder how we suppose to visual and still be in the now when we end up imagining the future.

Thanks simona.

I will try to clarify a bit more about visualising. Mostly people make mistake here and therefore they cannot manifest.

When you visualise, don't project your wishes into the future, because they will stay in the future.

You should visualise as though you already have what you want, you must convince yourself of that.

Let's say you want to manifest $10,000 (add or substract what feels realistic to you).

You should visualise the money as it is already in your bank account, waiting to be spent. How would you feel as if you have that much?

And just go about your day as though you have that much money in your bank account.

This is my article on law of attraction. I hope that will help you understand the process of visualisation and manifestation more.

Law of Attraction - How to Attract Absolutely Everything You Wish

Good luck!

You can't think about the past or the future in the past or the future. You have to think about it right now.

Simona:

Makes sense. Thanks for the example.

The cloud:

That's so clear to me... oh yeah

Judge:

Stating" it's a struggle". That was egoic

Observing that statement and observing the reaction of the ego and not reacting to the reaction of the human(ego). That is being god. I know, so I'm not asking if im correct.

There's a book out by patsy rodenburg called presence (i'm sure there's others) and it's about living in the moment. She describes it in 3 circles of energy; First (past and inwards) Third (future and forced) and Second which is the present and in the moment.

YouTube - Patsy Rodenburg - The Second Circle <---heres a link of her explaining it.

She bases it around actors but it can be applied to anyone and every situation

(Oh yeah i think the books called "The second circle" in the USA or "Presence" in the UK)
