ingesting gold

i wasn't quite sure whether i should post this in the health section or this section but i thought i'd try it here first.

has anyone here actually ingested gold? or white gold powder? i've heard ancient civilizations apparently did this but is there any current studies on this? if so what does it do?
thanks.

Hi there,

This is a funny post, lol

I once came across information which explained some aspects about sniffing gold powder like one would do with cocaine.

From what I remember it would somehow trigger instant enlightenment, lol
Which makes me to personally believe this is not something one would wish to experiment with, I believe is someone would reach enlightenment this way, it would cause instant damage too, lol, like frying your brain!
One must understand our brain is like a electrical PowerStation or similar to that.

This custom of sniffing gold I believe finds its roots in ancient population of Irak, apparently they also had some sort or device which could create temperatures coming close to that of the sun.

Anyhow, to sniff gold powder would cause the brain to function as it is supposed to function. Whatever sense this can make to anyone reading this, to me personally it makes a lot of sense, although I would never ever sniff Gold, lol

Our brain is actually a transmitter/receiver, one who is in a state of enlightenment (third eye and stuff) can tap into tuning to other stations or frequencies than those which are known to those who don’t linger in this state.

I guess sniffing gold would boot up the brain to work in way’s I do not wish to know about, lol

To gain enlightenment without the use of gold can already push one to become insane in the brain, so I believe it is not advised, never ever, it’s not worth it!

This is only my personal opinion of course,

Would love to read what others think or know about this,

Why you wanna know? How did you find out about this old custom?

Another funny thing, apparently those who (really) run the world, make sure we consume masses of sugar, this to ensure we don’t get our receiver/transmitter to work properly, apparently sugar has some kind of effect upon our brain in order to keep us limited in many ways and forms….

I actually believe this to be true, sadly enough for reasons I ignore, lol

Well that's the first time I've heard about sniffing the stuff.

I just heard about eating it and I know its considered a delicacy in small amounts in europe (like a gold leaf on dessert) and that others ingest it to purify their body.. helping it get rid of toxins.

I know sugar acts like white noise however oddly enough -- when I was eating dark chocolate cake for my birthday my intuition and psychic abilities skyrocketed.. and I don't know if its a coincidence but it seemed to slow down a little bit after I finished the cake.

I wouldn't try it. But here is some interesting material, on a website that is densely packed with immensely thought-provoking information. This is the site that really got me rolling on my spiritual path a while back. Oddly, no one else around here seems to find it interesting.

Read this stuff on "gold", then start at the home page and prepare for hours of fascinating reading.

There's apparently a very expensive sundae which has "edible gold leaf", according to this page: A thousand-dollar ice cream sundae? Why not? — JSCMS As well as another inedible-sounding ingredient, caviar. :p

If I recall correctly, I first heard about that sundae on a TV show starring Paris Hilton.

Buying and eating such an expensive sundae is something so remarkable I wouldn't be surprised if some folks somewhere blogged about the experience. I'm not in the mood to research this topic in depth, but if I was, I'd try a blog search.

Best wishes,
Apollia

I got curious enough to do a blog search. To my surprise, I couldn't find anyone claiming to have eaten that sundae.

Then, I tried the search "ate gold" in quotes. That actually got some results.

None of the posts I've seen so far talked about any resultant health effects from having eaten gold, but, many of those blogs allow comments, so it would be possible to just ask the authors.

Best wishes,
Apollia

It most likely just passes through.

I have consumed gold in forms which allow it to be metabolized by the body. It is a well-known tonic in the Ayurvedic system of medicine (which I'm presently studying, having trained in Western medicine). Gold has very potent effects on the nervous system, and is also a potent anti-inflammatory in arthritis.

Elemental gold simply consumed as is in powder form will have little to no effect on the body. It needs to be processed either into a bhasma (ash) using specific methods, or an alchemical form. An acquaintance of mine extracts the gold (among many other herbs and minerals) into oil, where it functions as a potent, nanomolecular level remedy.
