Taoist Sexual Practices

I recently stumbled across information on Taoist sexual practices and found them very interesting. As human beings we are very sexual and have alot of energy focused there. In the Taoist tradition, in males specifically, the semen is the fluid with the most amount of life essence. Through sexual misconduct and lack of control this can accelerate the draining of the life essence/force. If you practice ejaculation control you can conserve your life force and this can lead towards immortality. I was just curious about others opinions on this subject and if anyone knows of any good references for this topic.

I read one author who claims that every partner we sleep with, becomes emotionally connected to you. You will experience their ups and downs as you go through life. No idea whether it's true or not, but it sounded like an interesting hypothesis.

The other idea was presented by Muktananda: if you want to achieve Samathi you will need every available drop of energy in your body, i.e. no sex.

Actually this isn't inconsistent with the Taoist idea of ejaculation control. That's sex, without ejaculation, and therefore without loss of the yang energy. Apparently, the so-called Taoist methods include methods for the man to have orgasms without ejaculation; and in fact he can have multiple orgasms in this way, all in one blissful night. :D:D:D
