Has anyone on this forum tried or had results with this system ?, I have just this week started Wave 1, and am in my second day of introduction to focus 10. Which does from my initial experimentation with it have the ability to induce quite rapid states of deeper consciousness. I can normally drop myself into the state "introduction to focus 10" induces within 30 mins or so, but this system seems to induce it much more rapidly. any experience with this ? |

Just found it on the Net. Will look into it. Ive had a few out of body experiences recently and to be honest found them quite disconcerting so am glad to find something that will help me understand it more. Thanks! Please do tell us more.

hmmm, im supprised no one has tryed this before, well i started with the first track "orientation" which introduces you to the hemisync program. this to me after 5 days of using it seems to just relax you and get you used to the tones on the cd's, and bring you to the point or state of what they call focus 3. I wouldnt actually call this a meditative state, just quite relaxed and comfitable , the track lasts about 30 mins, anyway the last 2 days i have been using the next track introduction to focus 10. this tends to put you into a lite trance like state where you let go of most or all of you bodily feeling, via guided relaxation techniques. on the first day i was a little distracted by an urge to swallow every now and then, but managed by the end of the track to completely let go of my body, which was a very nice feeling and come the end of the track where you are counted back up to fully aware and conscious, i found i didnt want to come back lol and wanted it to last longer But you are told before hand to resist this feeling and stick to the guidence on my second immersion into focus 10 this morning, again for 30 mins wow! i sunk headlong into it, what a nice feeling this is which felt somewhat odd at first, being awake and concious but still retaining this peacefull still feeling in my mind. you are told in the guide booklet that comes with the cd that there will be changes, so even though i new before hand, it still comes as a bit of a shock, or not shock but supprise, as i tend to take things like that with a pinch of salt. there are 4 more track on the cd : advanced focus 10 release and recharge exploration, sleep freeflow 10 if the intro to focus 10 is anything to go by, then i am now expecting changes to take place and much deeper levels of consciousness, but i will stick to intro to focus 10 for a couple of weeks or how ever long it takes for me to induce this state without the use of the guided cd, as recommended in the booklet At this point i will move onto advanced focus 10, and see where that takes me. |

i would also add, you are advised to turn the volume right down on your cd or mp3 player when listening to the tracks, to a level where you can only just hear the spoken words, the tones which are very lite and comfetable on the ears seem almost distant and not really there, but they are there which to me is a total contrast to the "holosync" tracks i have tried in the past with no verbal guidence, yes the sound of rain on the holosync tracks is quite relaxing, but these hemisync tracks are much easier on the ears and brain to me, and with what little experience i have of them so far, most definatly seem to work. as i mentioned earlier i carried some of this blissfull feeling back over to my conscious state when coming out of it, and about 2 hours later drove to work to hand some timesheets in, fully alert i must add, but definatly much more relaxed than normal. to be honest i dont think i have felt this peacefull and relaxed internally since i was about 9 years old, when i had no worldly worries at all |

I went to the Gateway Voyage residential retreat program a couple of years ago and found it to be extremely interesting. The group dynamic and having the coaching made a BIG difference. I've thought about getting the CDs to continue doing the 'full program' at home, but haven't found the inspiration yet. |

Someday I want to make monroe-meditations a regular part of my daily routine... really deepen that because I'm convinced from my program that with a bit of attention, this stuff can be really really powerful. ('cause yeah, telepathy and prophecies aren't powerful enough...) | |

pretty cool, i'll have to see if they run similar things in the UK, wouldnt mind trying something like that, as im pretty much self taught from books and videos on line, so it would be good to get some realtime feedback as to what i should be feeling or experiencing rather than trial and error. But i do from my little experience with this system even now feel it has definate results to offer the practitioner, and have since decided to end all my other mish mash of explorations and persue this for at least the next 6 mnths and see how i progress just focusing on this alone, if after 6 months of daily use i have made more advancements than with my usual eclectic program i will then extend it to 12 months, and am now going to keep a daily journel of my experiences which i have never done in the past |

i dont think that would work the same apparently you need the different tones of 4.5hz 8.5hz and so on to stimulate the different wave patterns in your brain, delta and theta, so unless the person who put the track together knew his/her stuff and intentionally put these tones into the track using a wave generator and ocilloscope, then youd be pretty much creating random wave patterns in your brain, which is no use what so ever as you get that through your daily life anyway. i think the idea is to bring both hemispheres of your brain into syncronisation on either a theta or delta wave lenght, then by the use of guided instruction whilst in this state you should acheive greater focus, more rappidly than usual. |

what was it you were looking for from voyage ? a method of meditation or an OBE, those tracks are very similar to wave1 i myself am looking for an OBE out of this, and have purchased the book, mastering astral projection by robert bruce to add some reading material to the wave tracks, yesterday i think i was on the verge of this, whilst listening to "introduction to focus 10" i felt the falling through my body sensation, which was a little unnerving at first, but managed to pull it back and get a grip of my fear. Then i started to feel a warm fuzzy feeling in my hand that started to travel up my left arm, then i lost it as soon as i let this surge of enthusiasm rise and develope, i lost it, feeling myself rise back up into my body and the warm fuzzy feeling instantly stopped in my left arm. but now i understand not to mentally interact with it, just let it happen and observe it, and dont get excited lol so what was or is your aim with voyage |

I was kind of looking for an OBE, and I was trying to see if I could time travel, and I was looking for answers to why my life seemed like such a disaster, and I was trying to be able to contact my mom who had passed eight months earlier, and a whole bunch of stuff. I'm not sure exactly -- I was searching. My mom died in July, I called off my engagement in January and moved out, and went to TMI in March, so everything was very upside-down at the time. One thing they recommended trying for an OBE was rolling out of your body sideways. People could visualize in their mind rocking sideways back and forth inside their body and apparently some had success rolling right out. Nobody in my group managed it though. There also were people working on remote viewing, and some wanting to channel. There were two sets of parents there who had recently lost a teenager in a car accident. I think TMI gets a lot of that -- people who are going through some trauma and are searching for answers or contact. |

sorry to hear you went through such a low point in life, many years ago way before i got into all this, my gran died who i was very close to, i had seen her that night before i went to work, as she was at my house for tea, sometime after i had gone to work on the night shift, my dad took her home. and walking up her path to her front door she just had a heart attack and passed away, my dad tried to revive her but with no success. in work my supervisor took me into an empty office and broke the news to me, at first i felt like my body had fallen straight through the floor "shock" my mind was numb. then out of nowhere i cant explain this bit really, it wasnt so much a physical feeling more of a knowing, that she wasnt dead as in dead as we normally percieve it, she was actually still here i couldnt see, hear or speak to her but she was there!, only her physical form had gone all my grief or sense of loss went away, and i sort of smiled like when you really really know something to be true inside, i cant really explain that neither now with me, i dont just think we are eternal beings as in a theory, too me it is truth! i dont have a shadow of doubt in my body about that at all. i think alot of the grief people feel when they wrongly think someone is dead and gone, is grief for themselfs, that they have lost something its not actually grief for the person and what they think that person went through at this so called point of death, its grief for yourself that you think something has been taken away from you. im wandering off subject lol, sorry it must have been hard for you at that time in your life to stay centred and focust, you may have had all the will in the world to cross over temporarilly and prove this fact to your self, but our physical bodies are full of emmotions that usually wreck your attempts at times like those. i have read and watched masses of stuff on NDE and OBE since, and all those people cant be lying lol, you know yourself, lyers allways get found out, unless your a very good con artist, and these people giving details of their experiences are just normal people with no agenda, they dont want to sell books or believe there is so kind of monetary gain in it for them, having said all that, i dont need anyone else to tell me what i allready know to be true! i look into all this stuff to find out the bits i dont know, " whats it like ?, whos there ? do we have spiritual homes and pets lol. or do we just buzz about here and there in the ether i think if you stick with it, you will find the answers you are looking for, one thing i have learned so far is not to try and force it, it has the oposite effect and holds you back in your physical body, if it doesnt happen this time or the next time, dont let emmotion surface, just lightly smile inside and think hmmmmm not ready yet lol, maybe next time. dont let negativity creep in "grrrrrrr i can do it, it dont work" believe it will work and it will in time we are very good at holding ourselfs back spiritually, we have been practising it all our lives, and the illusion that there is only the physical is re-enforced in you daily by the media, advertising and all the people that want to keep you in the physical realms and not progress, because there is finnancial gain in it for them to do so. when you see past all that and start to see beyond this physical illusion truths will be made known to us , all of us |

Hi Mark7, I attended the Gateway Voyage in Spain this summer. I found myself getting into meditative states that previously took me a week or two of meditation. I found that doing the week-long course was very useful as it all seemed to build up as the week progressed. I experienced nothing close to an OBE however, as mentioned, I did experience some very deep meditative states. I found it very useful to talk it all over with my fellow participants and the trainer was excellent. I haven't really followed up on the course by continuing my practice, so now is a good time for me to dig out the CDs. If you have any questions about the course let me know. Cheers. |

I thought I'd share more about my experience on the Gateway Voyage this summer. As Chris mentioned above, the group dynamic and coaching did make a big difference. what over activities did you do apart from listening to the tracks, were they mainly individual exercises that you do by your self, or group orientated. We had ample time to share our experiences inbetween the listening sessions, meals were also quite drawn out which gave extra time to talk things over. I am very grateful for my fellow partipants. As the course was in Europe, there were people from several different countries and very varied backgrounds and ages. The listening sessions themselves were individual but an experiment was carried out by members of our group to try and "meet up" during the session. I think one of them was partially sucessful. Another that I felt was very important was the time to relax and exercise after lunch. As the course was in Spain (in a villa, outside of Madrid) we followed the siesta pattern. We had a pool, so it was really good to be able to do a few laps after all the sitting/lying down listening to the sessions. Also resident at the villa was a Giant Schnauzer who really helped to ground me, and others, at night and between sessions. It was good to have a dog around to bring you back down to earth. I have only attended the Monroe Institute in Spain but based on my experience I would really recommend it. I am seriously thinking about doing another course there next year. I still have my notes/information from the course but as I have recently moved things are a little muddled at the moment. If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to try and answer them. Cheers, Rob |
