New visualisation experience!
Today I took the bus to school again, and since I didn't my MP3 player with me I decided to close my eyes, count down from 10 and just be silent for a while.
Gradually I became less and less conscious about my suroundings. I still noticed I was in the bus, I still felt the movements and heard the sounds, but I felt like I wasn't consciously there anymore.
Instead, I felt like I was asleep. I also started seeing things. For example, I suddenly saw I had a book in my hands and I started reading it. Then I remembered that I don't have a book like that, and that I was sitting in the bus with my eyes closed. It sounds like a lucid dream, but I wasn't dreaming. I was awake, yet the experience was almost like I was asleep.
It was then that I tried out some things. In that state of mind, I found that it was much easier to visualize things. I tried seeing the bus from where I was sitting, but with my eyes closed.
The result was that I saw the bus quite clearly, but there were no people, and the image was blue.
It was also very strange, because it felt like I was living two bodies at the same time. I was sitting upright in this visualized bus, and I was sitting in a rather bad posture with my eyes closed in real life.
I think I was on the boundary of being awake and being asleep. I have to say that it was actually quite hard to concentrate in that state, and sometimes I would just have random imagery come to me, just like in dreams.
I tried to do the same thing on the way home, but I ended up falling asleep several times. I guess I was too tired to be conscious at that state of mind then.
So what do you guys think? What exactly was it I experiencing?
