bad karma?

alright i've been dealt with a fun hand of cards in the past while.
i just had to quit my job this week not because of one boss harrassing me but TWO.
i've been told this is karma because i never overcame the moodiness that i dealt from my father my whole life.. but if i act to get justice on this won't that grant me bad karma again?
to what extent are we to have compassion?

i really want to go and report my boss to the local arts councils for barely acting like a nonprofit organization and mainly focusing on business but would that bring me bad karma?

i'm so angry.. and feel so defeated.. and i'm broke and have bills to pay..

If you do anything for revenge, bad karma. If you do anything to protect the next guy or gal, OK. If you do anything to bring real justice, OK. No one but you will know what's right. No one but you or a very connected adept knows if you have karmic debt or what it involves.

I've read (and believe) that forgivness is the way to pay the debt.

Remain calm - this too will pass. You'll get another job. Do your best to puzzle out the lesson in this - it may not be obvious. It may even lead to a better job. It's in large part up to you.

I'm sorry to hear about you losing your job, and can certainly understand your worries. I don't know much about karma specifically, but like fellowtraveler I would say that you'd be better off to move forward, even though you feel that your bosses were wrong. Try to look at this as an opportunity, a sign that better things are in store for you. It seems like it wasn't a great place to work anyways.
