Strange experience of Infinite Mind in a dream last night

I went to bed last night feeling some anxiety and fear about the future.
I was thinking about my brother who has been ill, and I thought, ‘Is this the way it is going to be for the rest of my life – family and friends beginning to get ill and die?’

I played some meditational music, asked for help from God/Higher Self, or whoever may be there, and eventually went to sleep.

In my dream, I was near a rocky shore. The light was dim and the waves were crashing on the rocks. I was feeling anxious, but calmness began to come over me and the waves retreated, leaving a dry bed of sand and rocks. I was surprised at this and pointed it out to some others standing near.

The realization came over me that all this was my mind. The landscape, the people, were just my mind.

My son then appeared. He had done something naughty. I didn’t react. I just felt love for him and he seemed to merge into my being. My wife appeared who began to scold me for not disciplining my son. I didn’t react and argue, as I normally would have done. I accepted her with love and she merged into my being.

An attractive girl appeared who seemed very interested in me. I had a thought that I was too old for her. She read my thought and asked how old I was. I laughed and said, ‘Very, very old’. She didn’t seem to care how old I was. But I still had a doubt, and a mean looking person suddenly appeared behind me, who shouted, ‘Setenta’ (Spanish for seventy). I turned back to the girl, thinking she might now reject me but she was still smiling and obviously uncaring about my age. We walked along, holding hands, then I woke up.

I realized then, not just academically, but I could feel it, that all is contained within my mind which is infinite. All the experiences, all the people, are but reflections or analogies of the movements of consciousness.

I realized that the ‘I’ which I consider to be is just a concept. Consciousness adopts a viewpoint to experience, and immediately, an ‘I’ is created. The created ‘I’ sends ‘out’ frequencies/vibrations. Consciousness then adopts another viewpoint to experience these, and so another ‘I’ is created.

Just as each cell in the body contains the blueprint of the whole body in it’s DNA, a single ‘I’ encompasses the whole of the infinite mind.

All the people I see are aspects of my mind. The moment I react to, or pass judgement on any of them, I then create something negative and painful in myself; I am judging myself. But, they are all me. They are all acting out what my core beliefs are.

I really felt this. I woke up feeling warm and glowing all over, like my body had been pumped up with growth hormone or something! I had let go of the ‘I’ I thought I was and I felt incredibly liberated.

There is nothing outside my mind/your mind for it is infinite. I am all of it and you are all of it (and more). It is a projection of consciousness. Perhaps, this is SR, I don’t know.

It takes as long as it takes, I suppose!

I've had a conceptual understanding of it, plus some gut feel, but experiencing it like that was quite moving.

ALG, is this how you feel 'reality' to be?

This currently sums it up for me:

The Infinite Self

Each individual is all knowing, all seeing, simultaneous, multi-dimensional, infinite and eternal, by nature, and already contains anything that they seek to know (all knowledge), anything that they seek to experience and anything that they seek to create. They are each pure consciousness, infinite being. There is nothing outside of infinity. There are no boundaries to infinity. Any external manifestation literally exists within you. Your body, your external reality, is all within your consciousness. It is all actually you! You create it all. Reality exists within you.

The Decision

Begin to willingly participate in the creation and experience of your reality consciously. You already contain it all. There is no "Outside" … There is no "External". There is only you experiencing yourself. There is nowhere to go - you are already there. There is nothing to "get rid of", process through, earn, gain or achieve. There is simply decision. It is up to you, in any given moment, to express who you prefer to be, versus any self-imposed definition. Every moment you are expressing some version of who you believe yourself to be. You decide, in each and every moment, who you are. You create yourself 100% right now. Now is the only time that is truly, truly real. Your infinite consciousness is one eternal now. Recreate yourself according to who you prefer to be. Being willing to be "Mindful" of the decision you are making - right now - and exploring who you prefer to be - right now - is all that it takes to completely and 100% transform your entire experience - right now. You already create your reality through decision, trust and action automatically. Just be conscious and definite about it. (From Elan's Core Concepts).

Very moving. Now you will hold that image and knowledge "going forward" as they say. You'll remember that every time you feel the anxiety-demon creeping in.

I had a similar experience long ago, but not in a dream and with no visuals. I never forgot it, but I am just this past year beginning to understand.

Sometimes. Especially on days when I've meditated.

Now you have become a truly wise man, Mr Cantando. I'm so proud of me. Since you too are an aspect of my mind.

There is nothing outside my mind/your mind for it is infinite. I am all of it and you are all of it (and more).

And now you see why it is possible for you to make anything, yes? With your thoughts, I mean. Because you already ARE making everything.

Thanks, ALG. The warm glow is beginning to wear off a little bit, so I can't wait to get back home, listen to some music and meditate again (not to mention my new, hot date! Sorry, I mean spiritual guide! ).
