I recently came across the website Share-International, a non-profit, non-governmental organization in association with the Department of Public Information at the United Nations: "In the midst of war, fear and famine, new hope is in the world for us all" Many now expect the return of their awaited Teacher, whether they call him the Christ, Messiah, the fifth Buddha, Krishna, or the Imam Mahdi. Millions now know that the Teacher who fulfils all these expectations is already living among us. Maitreya, the World Teacher, has not come alone, but with a group of wise Teachers who have long guided humanity from behind the scenes. They are returning to the everyday world to help us solve our most critical global problems. Maitreya is not a religious leader, but an educator in the broadest sense. He is here to inspire us to create a new era based on sharing and adjustment, so that all may have the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, health care, and education. His open mission in the world is about to begin. As Maitreya himself has said: 'Soon, now very soon, you will see my face and hear my words.' I would also recommend listening to the audio recording Breaking the biggest news in history, a documentary based upon a press conference by Benjamin Creme, a messenger of hope, Cheif Editor of Share-International Magazine. UPDATE! Neale Donald Walshe, the author of Conversations with God, has released two revolutionary books that are fundamental to the evolution of our planet. The first book, Tomorrow's God poses us with our greatest spiritual challenge. The second book The New Revelations gives us the tools to bring about peace and harmony. It is visionary, but very, very possible. Don't take my word for it. Please read the books! |

After browsing some of Share-International articles and listening to the audio recording, what opinions have you formed? Personally, I get a great deal of excitement from Benjamin Creme. For me he is a beacon of hope, emanating trust in the future. His prediction that we will be able to fuel everything on our planet with light, from a single ion soon to be found in water and that we will be able to move boulders with sound waves, puts a big smile on my face. Talk of science evolving at such speed in the years to come that with the power of thought, we will be able to remove time from any equation, therefore allowing space travel to other galaxies possible in a number of minutes is the stuff of fantasy fiction novels, isn’t it? And then there are the 1000’s of crop circles created by UFOs that I also find extremely interesting. I believe UFO's helped build the ancient pyramids, what are your views? |

After browsing through the info you posted I felt mixture of scepticism and anticipation. How do I know if what these people say is actually true? If you are looking for signs you will find them anywhere. The meaning of these signs is personal. There are many theories about the pyramids. That’s all they are: theories. What if all mountains were originally structures build by small beings with big eyes, a planet full of huge pyramids? What if after a war, the majority of these small beings with big eyes died because they killed each other? What if us humans, former apes, became the new dominant species? Would any of that change the reality we live in now? Should we wait for someone from the past to return to save us, or should we save ourselves? |

This is a question I've been pondering over as well. But I think I made a realization that assured me more. Although it is certainly interesting to analyze the theories and possibilities of the future, I believe we already have some good evidence of a positive future. World War 2 is, ironically, a beacon of hope for me. It was arguably one of the worst times in the history of humanity. Yet, look at where we are today. We have computers, Internet, gyms, etc. (in the more developed countries) If evil truly prevailed over good, then we would all be chanting "Heil Hitler!" and not a single Jew would be left on the planet. How come that didn't happen? I don't think it was luck. The media I'd have to say is the biggest culprit in making people believe the world is a terrible place. When do they ever make a report about the kid who worked hard and aced his exam? Or the person who overcame his fear of rejection? Nobody cares about that kind of stuff NOT because they genuinely don't, but they have been conditioned not to. Society doesn't value those small victories, but rather great ambition or achievement whether it be good or evil. But, of course we can't just blame everything on the media as we have as much responsibility in the affair as everyone else. World War 2 also showed how truly effective and believable manipulation and evil can be. I believe that is why there is so much doubt and postmodernistic thinking in the world today. Nowadays most people seem to be afraid of taking their views and ideas to the fullest for fear of becoming the next Hitler. There is a line and part of our journey to becoming the great people we were meant to be is to distinguish that line. I believe in the spirit of humanity. Let's go and make the world a better place my friends! Last edited by Hsiang-Lin; 11-06-2006 at 02:15 PM. |
