Hi everyone I have recently written an article about binaural beats - as you probably know these are CD recordings that play different brainwave frequencies into each ear. As a result, your brain creates a third equilibrium frequency to compensate. As this binaural beat slows down, you safely descend into a deep trance or meditation state. Does anyone have any experience with binaural beats that they could share? I am looking for the very best products to discuss on my website. I am interested in any kind of brainwave recording that helps create instant meditation for beginners as this improves awareness of reality and the quality of lucid dreams / dream control. The products I have tested so far include: Hemi Sync Mind Sync Brain Sync Holosync Unexplainable Store Subliminal Studio Thanks for your input! Rebecca |

I have been using hemi-sync for a few years now. I enjoy some of the music cd's and I especially like the Gateway Experience. Since using the Gateway Experience I have become more relaxed and even tempered. I would highly recommend this to beginners and advanced meditators alike. Cheers! Check out Transparent Corp. Transparent Corporation They have products where you can make your own entrainment CDs. And there are also more powerful forms of entrainment than binaural beats, which are amongst the weakest. The website says, and I've experienced, that isochronic tones and visual stimuli are more powerful entrainers than binaural beats. They also do not require headphones. |

Wow, thanks Fulcrum, I had never heard of isochronic tones before. I will definitely look into this. Also, ZeeZoy, great to hear you have success with the Gateway Experience. I never tried it before, I use Holosync instead which is probably comparable in that they both require ongoing use but have powerful effects. |

I have the first level of holosync, and it's something very good. You sit there and you get more relaxed and calmer every second of the cd, then when the thing is done it feels like awakening from sleep, but conscious sleep. It's like perfect preparation for a long study session, a poker tournament, etc. And it's also useful after a learning session, poker tournament, writing session etc to clear your mind. Funny thing is, you don't always notice how deep you are meditating until the session is over and you wake up. I had a few times that I just stopped halfway because I didn't felt anything, but in reality I was already there( in the perfect state of mind). It's so subtle to notice when you are meditating. |

Hi, Rebecca800... I can share have some experience I've had with binaural beats. I often listen to Ultra Meditation II and III, theta and delta waves. Although I'm completely skeptical of Dane Spott's other claims and products, Ultra Meditation does put you in an altered state using binaural beats. I read that the more deeper the waves, the more abilities or benefits could be had, so I went straight to the theta and delta cds. I've had them for awhile, so I had a long time to experiment with them. One thing I discovered is that for success you should intend to remain awake and alert you listened, or the sounds will lure you into losing consciousness. Also having a particular purpose for listening will also help. When I first starting listening and I didn't have a particular purpose for listening, I either fell asleep or remained awake and got bored and stopped listening. Later I learned to have a specific reason for listening, and I began to have more experiences with them. I also learned how to remain awake at the onset of hypnogogic images- those images we see when we are dropping off to sleep. I practiced staying awake for longer and longer periods of time, until I got through a whole delta wave cd in that state! I also discovered that by nudging myself awake each time I saw dream images, that it became easier to do this while asleep, and become lucid in a dream.... Another is kelly Howell's, Deep insight which was my first binaural program, and it also works to put you in an altered state. She also tends to have titles adressing metaphysical subjects, like kundalini and manifesting.... And yet another is the brainwave generator a software program that lets you choose which brainwave state you want and comes with special programs you can add to it, everything from astral projection, to meditation and sleep.... Hope this helps, take care.... |
