| Hello all, Months ago I remember reading a post on the Pavlina forums that mentioned an everyday meditation that had stages you progress through. I can't remember the order of the stages. One stage involved not speaking for a time, another not giving in to urges such as fidgiting and scratching. From what I remember, the aim of the meditation was to go beyond conditioning, become aware of urges and their causes, and go beyond them (or at least, to consciously choose what to do instead of simply reacting to an impulse). I believe the post may have been written by a female, since I have female energy attached to that memory, but don't let that limit your search criteria. The meditation had a funny name, perhaps starting with "A" something (can't quite remember), and I think the post or the poster might have referenced an Australian website, or made some sort of Australian reference. I've tried searching through the forum briefly, but I thought I'd simply ask if anybody knew of the post or thread I'm remembering, or at least, the meditation I'm refering to and the practice involved. Please don't feel obligated to go on a big search, unless you feel inclined to do so. Thanks. |
