How the mentally deficient proceede to the afterlife

Hey all,

I've been thinking about the afterlife and wondering "are all people the same intelligence level in spirit form as they are here on earth"? Would a *retarded* person here on earth still be retarded as a spirit? Proceeding with this question I got a few theories, do they resonate with you?

The theory is that our brains are essentially communication stations with the spirit world, our soul/spirit/whatever is up there in the ether constantly and always. When we are born here on earth our brain is linked to that spirit.

Now our brains aren't that powerful which means they aren't able to fully realize the thoughts of our spirit selves, as such we only have a small fraction of the conscious ability of our spirit self and our unconscious mind is actually our spirit self informing us of things (which seems to be a hell of a lot smarter than our conscious mind).

Also thinking that those with mental disabilities or those that are really smart simply have underdeveloped/superdeveloped brains, which means they can communicate more easily or find it incredibly difficult to communicate with their spirit selves.

So in essence we are all incredibly smart, but those who are smarter down here on earth can simply tap into their astral knowledge better than those deemed not so intelligent.

This coincides with the theory in think and grow rich, in which he describes his ability to talk to projections of other famous people and the "infinite intelligence" where you can access the thoughts of all others. I believe this is simply your spirit communicating with other spirits in the etheral planes, then sending this information back to you through your subconcious.

It is also why when someone has died and reincarnated you can still communicate with the spirit of the old person (even though now they may be a baby in africa), simply because their spirit or higher self is always in that astral plane and open to communication.

Thoughts or Theories?

EDIT: This could also mean we could reincarnate as an animal of any sort, and we simply have no intelligence as that animal because the brain of that animal is underdeveloped. Meaning all animals have a spirit up there and could have been human at one point in time. (Perhaps all living things?)

If a person limps, does their spirit also limp? This is a crazy question, because physical characteristics are just that--physical characteristics.

I contend that your question is equally crazy, because mental characteristics such as intelligence are merely a subset of physical characteristics because they stem from the functioning of the physical body.
