Default What would you do if you knew you were dying?

This is such an interesting topic, one that's being discussed everywhere and nowhere (the uncomfortable conversation everyone has).
If you discovered your days were dwindling, what would your priorities be? Would they even change? Would to try to justify your actions, or make amends with ones you care about? Would you be at peace with your life, feeling that you contributed to society?
More specifically, what do you think would be the most important things to accomplish before you die?

I'd kill myself.

Nah, I think it's best to just keep going as usual. If you start tearing stuff up and it turns out to be false alarm you might put yourself in a pretty messy situation.

If I knew I was to die in a few days probably not much different.

Try to communicate as much of my experience as possible (the difference to now being that I'm pacing it as I learn more and understand things better).

Would I go to work, that would depend on the purpose of going to work, if it was to earn money then no, cause don't need it to survive anymore. If it was to learn and help others grow then probably yes.

But we ARE dying. Each one of us is stepping closer and closer to our own deaths, moment by moment. Even if it's decades off. But we don't get to know when, so why should we live any differently now than if we discovered we were terminally ill or something?

Thumbs up Peter Pan

Peter Pan said "Death will be an awfully big adventure". St Therese of Lisieux apparently asked for a chocolate eclair. Wise woman!! I bet she loved every last bit of it too.

Find someone to take care of my two cats... they are my family.

In my last will and testament my two cats will get $50.000 and what is there when they die goes to the animal shelter, with the rest of my property going to my X wife.

This may seem morbid but I would throw a huge party with friends and family and give a goodbye speech to let them know how each one has affected me and to let them know that it was a fun ride while it lasted but now it's my time to go.I would be thankful that I would know I only had a few days instead of not knowing and then it sneaks up on you.IMO Death is the start of a new beginning.
