| Hi, I would like to get some advices to my current problems which I have. I have problems with learning an memoryzing things. And I know that cause is in the spiritual teachings and various phylosophies. I think that I am maybe too openminded to all possible teaching and suggestions a I think a lot about these all "theoryes" all the day. And here lies the problem, my mind is a kind of catalyzed by all this, for example the phylosophy that all that I learn "are just concepts and so on.."and that things which I name are concepts, by all those Ascended masters (iamuniversity.ch) that I am Ethernal Self and not this body and because of these my mind is filled with these thought patterns which are just going and going and for that there is not much place for stuff I learn at school. Also my grandma alarmed me that she known people who were interested in mysticism and these things and they had problems to graduate and to study at university and live kind of normal life. Couse they were somehow driven insane. So I seriously think about exiting all this stuff or really limit it. Not because I thing that these things arenīt true but becouse I cannot live with these ideas without consuming me and nearly whole my thinking. I really donīt know. Any suggestions ? ? ? P.S.:sorry for my English it is not my native language and Iīm just 18. |

| Take in the teachings that are right for you. Learn the things that help you out in your situation and only take in knowledge you resonate with. Other than that that's the best advice I have. Good luck. |

| Hi Bronxr, what you are describing sounds like a process called chemicalization. It basically means that you are intellectually ingesting a lot of spiritual information and it will take some time and energy to internalize it and process it. Take a few steps back, stop reading for a while, and start writing. Instead of ingesting more information, start putting it on paper so that you can see it. Do this until you come to some understanding for yourself. You can come up with a belief system that works for you. When you feel like you have digested the information whirling around in your head, you can begin to ingest some more. In the future, you might want to take in information, and digest it completely before you take in the next bit of info.

Since obsessing about the meaning of life isn't working for you, stop obsessing. Remain open and curious, but don't look for the perfect once and for all truth. It doesn't exist for any of us. Including spiritual teachers and mentors. They, too, have only partly understood and applied truth. So you will never reconcile everyone's beliefs and teachings. In the Christian world we used to say that someone was "so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good". I think this is valid. There is a balance between contemplating eternity and living in the now. It's probably more important to live in the now, in fact. So, ease off and take a vacation from all the mind games and then take them in smaller doses in the future. --Bob |

| You need balance. All aspects of life are important. if you give too much attention to spirituality, other aspects will suffer, and you will be unhappy, or will not accomplish anything. However if you totally forget about spirituality, then you may also be unhappy because you don't have a context into which to place all else you are doing. Reading is good, but limit yourself, and then consider what makes sense to you. You will soon extract your own truth. Don't worry so much about getting it right, just about exploration and discovery.

| Hi, I decided end with spirituality altogether. I reinforced really kind of extremistic habit and I thing that gone so far that maybe became be addiction. It can be also because of too opened crown chakra which became overactivated. So I must cut off absolutely everything from spirituality and everything connected with that. I had big problem even decide this way so you can see where I am I is still pulling me back but I am fortunately person with strong will. I must anchor me back on the earth because I became be lost in the heaven and with spiritual forces. I think that this problem have also other spiritual people, who are so open-minded to channeling and all possible mysticism. I must refocus back on earthly things and find some hobby to fill my mind. I learned my lesson Iīm going to never again do anything at extreme. Harmony is the key. Good by spirituality. Really. Please donīt argue against my decision Iīm happy that I can function normally. Thanks for all your replies. Sorry for English again.. |

| Extremes are never good. Cutting out all spirituality, however, is also an extreme, and you may soon find yourself against another road block if you pursue that path. Though you may not, as many people never pursue spirituality in their lives, so who knows. Moderation is key.

| Problem is that, only when I discard all spirituality as untrue, my mind is in peace otherwise my mind is full of all those thought patterns which are interrelated by Law of association. I either shut off it all or nothing, can you understand? Happened this to someone here? I have fear that this can consume me. Isnīt that so that Iīm not so strong personality to hold this all? Cause a few people ended at psychiatry because of all these questioning and philosophizing. Like famous artists and writers made suicide. I also noted that saints were generally uneducated like Jesus and so on...(problems with accepting human beliefs) People starts questioning their beliefs their true indetity, but I have fear that this can lead to insanity. |

| It's just a matter of control. Just like if you let anything else take over your life, all other aspects will be set on the backburner and be neglected, causing you to be unhappy. Cutting it out is no long-term solution. Perhaps limit yourself to a specific time per day for reading about spiritual matters.

But I think it's a very good idea to give yourself a break from your compulsive thinking. That's the insanity. Questioning your beliefs, though, is a great avenue to real sanity -- being present. Question your beliefs enough and you'll recognize that one belief is as true as another. You might want to adopt a practice of meditation for a few minutes each day in which you let go of your thoughts ... just be aware of them and let them float away... this is not necessarily a "spiritual" practice. You're just clearing out the gunk, and making room for new stuff! |

| WEll done on your english. take a break. You can be at one with God as you suck a toffee and enjoy it. Honestly. God is not only in books! in fact He She or it ( ha ha ) is in a pic nic, is in the rain, the wind, the traffic noise!! Is in your wonderful grandma! If you are looking too hard you will never find. There was once a little fish who kept swimming up to bigger fish and asking them " excuse me but where is the ocean?" The poor little thing did not realise she was already IN the ocean. God is everywhere.which means not only in books and texts written by Masters. God is the here and now. YOUR LIFE MY LIFE ONE LIFE> Lets enjoy swimming along together! and feel the water all around us as we do!!! love and best wishes for a happy happy adventure. Go see a good movie . Do what you love to do.We are all in this together. Leave the Masters to their work. That way we will be masters of our own destinies. |
