How do you find your spirit guide?

Okay, guys. I'm ready to start examining the more spiritual aspect of my life, now that I can finally get real sleep. My operation to cure my apnea seems (so far) to have been a success. My friend who had his operation years ago says I'm not going to know what to do with all my time now that I'll have energy. Let's hope! I'm very interested in getting into meditation and the spiritual realm again now that I'm starting to feel better.

So, who is my spiritual guide and how do I get em on the line? Is there more than one? Will there be false ones? Can you only reach them during meditation? Do I need insurance? What's the dealeo? :D

Hey there Dannyboy1,
This is a very interesting question you pose. The good news is, what I will tell (or, Remind you) you already know! You just may have forgot.

Here Goes: Your spirit guide is always with you. Infact, it is you! So you dont have to attempt to "find" it. All you really need to do is honor it. Acknowledge that you do feel, hear, and sense it. The best way to descride it is, --its like that little voice in your head (or all over) that leads you to "this" or "that"---and tells you exactly what to say, do, and act. So, lets be real...you know it. You can't NOT know it. But I think what your saying is more of how do you recognize it? Am I right?

Well, a hint is this: Its(your spirit guide) always the "Love" choice. The egoless choice. The decisions, words, ad actions that benefit you and everyone else. Of course, really, there is no "everyone else", theres only YOU!.. but I think you get my point. Its that little tingling feeling that always tells you what to do. Some ppl call it your "Gut" feeling, energy, or being...the term is not so important. Just open your mind and listen to it. It will never steer you wrong.

Disclaimer: Heres the rub. That gut feeling or spirit guide is only guiding you or directing you based on what "YOU" want. What you are asking for from the Universe, ---SO CHOOSE WISELY! and remember:

"You always get what you think about whether you want it or not".

Hope this helps

Spirit Guides: Who are they and how do you connect with them?

Slightly off topic

Hey congratulations on the Sleep Apnea thing. I had Apnea my whole life but didn't address it until I was in my thirties. Once I did, the difference it made in me was amazing. My wife thought she'd married an entirely different man.

Good luck with it and enjoy your new life!

Thanks!

I just got off the meds, so I'm looking forward to seeing the change. I'm 38 by the way, I'd wonder "What if I had found it before?" but everything happens for a reason right?

hehe I've been thinking that myself...If in times were I was in desperate need who came to save me lol It's euphoric just to think about:)

It can't be that simple...just be aware of your gut intuition? One time my gut told me not to walk down a certain dark street, but i did anyway, and nothing happened! One time my gut told me i was going to get into an accident that night. I drove anyway, and nothing happened! Why would my guides scare me for no reason? Was it just my imagination? Apparently. So since i can't tell the difference,i dont listen to any voices in my head anymore :D
