No I don't burn incense. I think it's just for anchoring, that people use it to have a key or signal into their meditational state. But many things can be used for anchoring.

Hope your flux capacitor is still in the DeLorean!

No, but I cleanse with sacred sage and/or cedar prior to meditating. Sometimes it continues to burn for a while.

I don't meditate, but I do light candles to relax (Buttercream, from Yankee Candle, being my favorite!) and get into a reflective mood to think about things. The scent of vanilla is really soothing to me; so are lilac scented candles.

Incense has always given me headaches, so I try to avoid it when I can in lieu of something that I like.
